Derwent Copper Salt Grinder | Precision+ Ceramic Grind Mechanism | Adjustable Coarseness | Premium Copper-Finish Stainless Steel | 190mm

It works and looks great

I'd bought my usual Lifetime Supply of grinding salt at a certain huge warehouse store whose name begins with a C, and found the plastic grinder was nonfunctional. Returned the salt (this C---- outfit being the one that will accept returns of practically anything, practically forever). After some calculation, the customer service clerk managed to get the busted grinder lid off the thing, leaving me with a lifetime supply of fancy pink salt but nothing to grind it in. I decided the path of least resistance was simply to buy a real grinder and fill it with this decorative salt, which I kept. So naturally, the minute I got home it was Off to Amazon!!! After perusing customer reviews of several salt grinders, I found a one by some guy who said he was a pro and wouldn't have anything other than the Cole & Mason...so ordered it up. Hot diggety: along it comes a few hours later...and it even comes with half a container of free salt! Add some of the pink salt, mix it up to make it look pretty, hold it over some food to try it out, and... Lo! It WORKS. It works exceptionally well. Not only does it produce a grind perfect for the dinner table or for cooking, you don't have to flip it upside down to dispense the salt. Just turn the mechanism on top. It's ridiculously easy to refill, and to my taste its design is attractive. Can't speak to its durability, because I've only had it a couple of weeks. But I'd venture that it LOOKS sturdy and feels substantial and sturdy in the hand...so I'm guessing it'll probably last for awhile.

Elegant, high quality dining piece

Works so nicely and grinds perfectly every time.

This is a very sturdy grinder and it is well made. The adjustable dial makes useful for the kitchen and at the table. It's easy to refill.

Shipped loose in an Amazon bag. Top was off and salt was spilled. Had to refill with new salt. Weird it’s not bubble wrapped or anything. Otherwise. Seems to be fine and works as described.

We like our Cole & Mason salt and pepper grinders so much, we ordered a set for our son and wife for Christmas. Heavy duty, easy to clean, look nice on the table. I do recommend keeping them on a small plate or dish, as they 'leak' a bit of salt and pepper out the bottom after each use.

Arrived on time. Works as advertised.

Llevo solo un mes de uso y hasta el momento todo bien. El diseño es agradable a la vista y al tacto.

This is the best salt shaker I have been able to find. It has a metal grinder so I expect it will stay sharp and last forever. While upgrading to better efficiency with fewer tools, I bought two types of grinders - one with plastic grinder and one with metal. While this is by far the best of the two, as it came with sea salt instead of Himalayan salt, I use the other one more often, but whenever I use this I love love love it. Although smaller than I expected, the large window and ability to choose coarseness with ease makes it the best design. I especially love that it does not leak salt over everything even without a bottom cap. I will eventually empty out the sea salt and put in 'the pink' and all will be perfect.

Je suis incapable de la faire tourner!

Smooth and effortless grinding. Great value
