In the picture I thought the material would be more satin like. It is definitely a stretchy material. It made my Marilyn costume complete. The color did bleed a little on my skin, but I wasn’t wearing it more than a few hours to care. I wouldn’t wear it for more than the costume look.

Great dress, people loved it. Only knock is the seam up the front, seems loosely hemmed. It lasted the night but I am unsure how many more uses I will get with it.

I have a theme birthday party coming up and thought this would be the perfect 50's icon look.Reading other reviews I was under the impression this was quality not costumey fabric.I guess spandex isn't costumey to anyone but me. Would have liked it more if it was cotton or any other material. A nice fit though.. Hugs all the right places so it gets a few stars for that.

Okay so this is a very cute dress for the money. It’s not exactly like the Niagara dress, but it would do for Halloween or even a night out to a club. The seam is in the front as you can see in the pictures and I wouldn’t suggest this to someone with very large breasts. I am 36 C and I still think I could of probably wore a push-up bra, but I wanted to show the dress on without anything else. You may need to iron it a little. Overall it’s very Marilyn, Brigitte Bardot style and I liked it.

Fabric feels thin and cheap.

I love this dress. It looks so elegant and classy when you wear it. It doesn't seem like a Halloween costume. It's made of a nice material that is kind of water repellent, yet, soft and sturdy. Take into account that this dress runs small. I usually wear a small size, but with this dress, I fit well in the medium size. The neckline is very low, lower than Marilyn Monroe's original dress so I sewed the neckline to make it more presentable without showing too much skin. I think I will wear this dress for a special occasion as well later on. I love the style of this dress - very pretty! I'm a happy new owner!

We had a theme party and I decided to try the look and was really impressed with the quality of the dress for the price. It fit a little tight on the top but the material has a some give to it so I was comfortable in all night.
