Very Good At Cleaning The Carpets,
I use to clean all my carpets with a Bissell spot cleaner which was ok, but use to leave the carpet wetter than I liked and it took me ages, so I got fed up and done some research on carpet washers that gave the best value for money in the mid range bracket, without getting a commercial one. I have to say using the rug doctor is so much better it has saved my back, and I really enjoy washing the carpets I find it like meditation and I like seeing the progress and seeing the dirty water knowing I am doing a good job, and seeing the final result. I think this is my first review ever, the machine is prebuilt and takes less thank 5 minutes to put together and up and running, if your not the strongest of persons it may be a bit heavy for you weighing 17kg but that weight helps push the machine into the carpet cleaning it a lot better, when using the machine its a pull back action whist pushing the button on top of the handle to release the the cleaning fluid, also there is a dial you can turn on the machine that sprays the cleaning fluid out the back giving it a chances to get deeper into the carpet before it is sucked up, it cleans in straight lines and I like that fact. you will go through quite a bit of cleaning fluid but that does not matter as it getting the carpets clean, emptying the dirty water tank is really easy just undo the lid and pour down the toilet, but be carful where the dirty water goes in from the machine can leak out there and make a mess, but you would have that problem with any design, it holds lots of water and picks most of it up, leaving it just damp to the touch unlike other carpet washers I have used. cleaning the dirty water tank I would recommend filling up the bath with water and submerge it in water and move it back and forth under the water to get the trapped hair and dirt where it goes in. I find it a great peace of kit and will be cleaning my carpets regularly with this device when it does eventually where out I will be sticking with rug doctor and moving to a commercial carpet cleaner, as I love cleaning the carpets and I am thinking on maybe starting a small carpet cleaning business, if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them. I am really happy with thus product and you will not be disappointed, just remember to buy pre-spray carpet cleaner to get them extra nice.

Wish I'd bought one years ago!
I typically rented a Rug Doctor machine from my local supermarket every year ahead of Christmas, so I'm familiar with the process of carpet deep cleans... But we recently gained a new puppy addition to the family who has been having accidents. Just after renting one again for £70 for 24hrs (with the detergent and enzyme) the puppy has a serious accident on the newly washed carpet. Rather than rent the cleaner yet again I took the plunge and bought this unit. My goodness... It was better than the rented unit by far. I was shocked at how grim the waste water was after redoing a landing area which had only been done three days before with the store rented unit. Out of curiosity I did the living room again and found that this unit pulled out much more dirt from the carpet. Dirt that the store rented unit was obviously missing. The unit was far less noisy than the store rented one (the store one seemed to thump the floor when in use), and this unit left the carpet much dryer (probably pulling the dirty water out better rather than leaving it on the carpet). This unit is less heavy than store rented units too, but the down side is that the fresh water tank is smaller so needed an an extra top up to finish a medium sided room. The attachment for stairs fits in easily but the coupler is made of plastic, which contrasts with that awkward metal one on the bigger rented units. Overall, this was great value for money, and reassuring to have on hand with the puppy still house training. The ease of use, and it's ability to fold the handle flat makes it easy to store and trivial to use more often to ensure we can keep on top of hidden carpet grimness. Very happy with my purchase. Wish I'd bought one years ago.

Fabulous fresh good as new carpets!
I’ve bought many cheaper ones and failed to get the job done. This is the best I’ve ever had and the handheld part just as powerful. Also doesn’t leave the carpets wet dries really quickly. The attachments easy to assemble tad noisy obviously but with good tunes headphones it’s quick work!
