I never knew going through menopause would change your skin so much, when I read this it was supposed to "Brighten and even the skin tone for a glowy, youthful complexion", I knew I had to give it a try. *** The three antioxidants are:- * Vitamin C:- Triple action Antioxidant complex providing instant skin radiance and luminosity whilst helping to heal puffiness & dark circles * Vitamin E:- A naturally occurring antioxidant that protects your skin against free radical damage * Niacinamide:- Also known as Vitamin B3, the skin-restoring ingredient, it helps improve skin's elasticity, revive skin's healthy tone and texture and reduce the size of pores *** Triple antioxidant action *** Instant radiance & luminosity *** Diminish the appearance of pores The price at the time of this review is £36.00 which i think is a high price. I do think it leaves your skin feeling nice and gives you that glow that's been missing as of lately. But I don't know if I would want to pay that price for it. This is the second Gold Collagen product I have tried. I am currently using their Night Renewal Serum and I have been pleased with the results so I was looking forward to trying this companion product. It is called Instant Glow Serum and it is designed to be used to prevent fine lines and wrinkles, diminish the appearance of pores, protect against UV radiation and ensure a healthy, luminous complexion. Ingredients include Vitamin C and E and Niacinamide. The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper to ensure you get the correct amount. It’s easy to use, just massage into your skin after cleansing and toning and you can use a pre-serum too if you wish. I like that it sinks into your skin quickly and there is no residue. It makes your skin feel softer and you do get a healthy glow. My skin can be sensitive but I have had no problems with this serum. I like this serum and, although it is still early days, so far so good. You can tell it’s a good quality product from the presentation through to the actual serum itself. It is not the cheapest but it does seem to do what it says on the tin (or rather bottle!) and I would happily get this again.

This Gold Collagen instant glow serum arrived in a branded cardboard box which was protected with bubble wrap. The serum is contained within an orange tinted 30ml frosted glass bottle complete with glass dropper for dispensing. The serum uses a triple antioxidant vitamin complex including vitamin C, vitamin E and niacinamide, which is a great combination of anti-ageing ingredients: • Vitamin C – helps maintain plump, firm skin and therefore reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst also helping brighten and nourish your skin • Vitamin E – prevents pigmentation and premature skin aging as well as promoting skin luminosity whilst protecting against UV radiation • Niacinamide – (also known as Vitamin B3) reduces the appearance of pores, improves elasticity of the skin and helps ease skin redness / improves skin tone I found that you only needed a very small amount of the opaque gel serum which I applied to my face and neck after cleansing with my fingertips. I have been using this instant glow day serum in the morning in combination with the Gold Collagen night renewal serum in the evening. This duo has left my skin feeling very hydrated without any greasiness and both serums absorb easily into my skin without any adverse reactions. The instant glow day serum has a very subtle natural scent which is very pleasant and is particularly good during these cold, dry winter months as it effectively hydrates and brightens my skin. I did also think that the serum reduced the appearance of pores, evening my skin tone in the process. The serum is free from major irritants including sulphates, silicones and alcohol and is both vegan and cruelty free. The premium glass bottle (with glass dropper) looks lovely on your shelf and helps keep the vitamin C content potent so the maximum amount can be absorbed into the skin. The serum is from a UK brand but made in South Korea and skincare is taken very seriously there. The serum is £36 at the time of reviewing, you don’t use a lot and I think the ingredients are excellent quality so I am happy to recommend it.

Lovely serum easy to apply and absorbs well, smell lovely and my skin feels soft and smooth, happy with it, does well job for me, really impressed 😀.

I’ve tested this serum for a month on part of my face, but have had other confounding factors that helped make my skin complexion better. I’ll try to extrapolate to all of the face, but my experience may be difficult to apply to yourself. Your mileage may vary. First, the bottle is square, meaning it can stay in the box as you unscrew the pipette and screw it back on, and it has better packing efficiency that way. Once applied, the serum mainly makes my skin glow, so the radiance claim is definitely true. The glow is temporary, ending once the serum has fully absorbed or been cleansed away. It’s non-greasy, absorbing within 2 minutes of massaging it into skin, but does make the skin feel a bit heavy. It leaves a rather strong citrus fragrance as well. After using it for a month on part of my face, I have found that my skin has become softer. I can’t say much about the pores, as I can’t really see them, however the serum does not seem to have caused many breakouts. The directions say to apply a pipette to the face “when needed”, but I find that half of a pipette gives a thick enough layer across the entire face when applied in a heart pattern as in the directions. A whole pipette is about 1 mL, so applying it once a day (probably in the morning) would last about a month, but half a pipette would last 2 months, and applying a whole pipette twice a day would last 15 days. Because the bottle is translucent, you can see how much of it you have left, which is useful. Ingredients are not currently shown on the listing; this is not great for people with allergies or intolerances.
