It sounds good DAC, but for this price it's probably hard to find something better.

I bought this unit so that I could output 5.1 channel sound from my Mac Studio to my Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system. Although it works fine to output 2 channels, it does not support 5.1 (confirmed by company). I did not do detailed testing of the sound quality. Previously I was using the headphone jack to output the sound, and with this unit it sounds the same quality to me. I would not have purchased this unit especially at this higher price had I known 5.1 was not supported. But I don't want to ding stars at the quality of the unit if 2 channels is what you need.

Utilisé comme DAC (USB sorite RCA) avec un ampli casque Topping, ce minuscule appareil est une merveille de transparence; comparé à une Creative G6, un TEAC CRh101, un DENON PM60, il laisse passer les sons sans le moindre parasite audible, il sonne "lisse et clair", sans "effet", sans rajout. Le seul DAC que je possède qui rend une sonorité aussi pure, est un Sabaj Da3. L'appareil est basique -dénué de tout logiciel de traitement du son, j'ai juste téléchargé le pilote XMOS sur le site du fabricant, qui ne m'a posé aucun problème d'installation sur Windows 11. Je l'emploie pour des films format bluray, des musique en 16/24bit sur Amazon music, et pour jouer. Je n'ai pas essayé les sorties numériques, donc cette appréciation ne concerne que la conversion digitale/analogique.
