I bought this on the strength of the reviews. When my little dog had a dental a few years ago it was traumatic all round. She either had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic or the metacam which was given to her afterwards, but she was very poorly indeed and it was touch and go. I've struggled to keep on top of the tartar building up on her teeth, she really does not like her teeth being cleaned. We have compromised with me using just my finger to put on some tasty doggy toothpaste every evening, but it isn't really enough on its own. I think this is helping a bit. Initially she wasn't very happy about the taste of the water with this in but I think she has got used to it now. The combination of this and the toothpaste does seem to be very slowly reducing the tartar but it is a long job. The inflammation have her gums has pretty much subsided now, so she will be more comfortable. So I would say use this as part of a teeth cleaning routine, but don't expect it to do the job on its own. It is quite expensive, my dog is only 10kg, but I expect the cost would soon mount up for a Labrador or larger breed.

Great product always use as cat wont let me brush teeth so this is next best thing. I have tried others and he does not like taste

It’s very effective stuff but had moved to another equally good but more affordable option. Was out of stock so had to get this. £25 for 1 bottle is not ok though. Very misleading photographs. Quickly brought last night, saw 2 bottles in the image and bought. Big mistake. This will only last 2 weeks with daily water changes.

I was advised this good for dogs gums but was dubious , how wrong i was the vet couldn't believe the difference in his gums and teeth . I thought a bit dear but well worth it . This my second time buying it and I highly recommend as worked great for my wee boy .

Very good product, my dog's breath was so bad, her teeth were very discoloured, I didn't know if it would work but gave it a go, very impressed, her teeth are now lovely and white again, her breath has improved, very effective.

We had been using another product that was a lot more expensive than this, and it seems to workout then for some reason we could not get it and our Rough Collie decided she would rather drink out of our pond than have just tap water. Then I found this one ,however for some time she would not drink it . but still preferred the pond water until I told her that the pond water was not for drinking , It took us at least two weeks to have this new flavour even then I had to keep watching her and having to tell her not to drink from the pond. Then she just kept having little sips out of her bowl Then one morning she drunk her bowl completely. Since that day she really does love her new water, we do try and clean her teeth using the brush, something she has never been keen on since she was a Puppy. However it was booster time today and we though it would be a good idea to see what the Vet thought of her teeth, and hey presto his words were her teeth were nice and clean considering she was not keen on the toothbrush, then we told him that were were using the mouth wash in her water, his words were carry on what you are doing , as for a seven year old her teeth were very good. The only problem is it is quite expensive.

Both my dogs refused to drink the water after putting in the additive. An expensive mistake!
