Eko NXT Parlor Black Acoustic Guitar

The build quality of this little guitar is simply outstanding for the price. I have been playing guitar for over thirty years, mainly electric, and was looking for an acoustic. This guy is very comfortable for electric players due to the small body size, but the tone is full and very expressive. To be frank, I would have paid £500 for this if I picked it up blindfolded in a guitar shop. It’s crazy-good for the money! Highly recommended!

Had this 3 days now and it's hard to find fault with this little guitar ,it's well finished inside and out the tuners are smooth , intonation and string height are good it's a joy to play .it stays in tune and sounds fine ,I think it's better finger picked than using plectrum , just a personal preference .New strings essential.... only thing I've noticed is a bit of filler in the saddle slot . otherwise ok.

So far I am disappointed by the tone of this instrument. Sound is quite thin and doesn’t ring. In particular the B string sounds tinny on the first fret..... that is the C note! Very odd and unpleasant! I had great hopes! But I cannot enjoy playing with this. Not a patch on my dreadnought Fender. Actually I just noticed that there is a crack on the body of the guitar.... could explain the problem.

As a recent beginner I was looking for something a little bit better than the £40 starter guitar I'd had for a year, but didn't want to pay too much. A guitar teacher recommended this for me. It's a compact size and absolutely gorgeous to look at - I keep it in a guitar holder on the wall and it looks lovely! The sound is soft and echo-ey rather than harsh - maybe slightly 'jangly' if that is a guitar word! There's no scratchboard so if you use a plectrum you might mark it. It isn't made of wood, but that means you aren't worried about leaving it in the sun/by the window. I would have given it 5 stars, but I have been searching high and low for a case for it, and nothing seems to fit, so that is a bit of a let down as it is not so convenient to transport around. But even so, I'm pleased I bought it.

This guitar small size is perfect, it's got a lovely sound, and it's very easy to tune. I bought it as a present for my husband. I might change the steel strings for nylon or gut in the future to approach the sound of a renaissance/baroque guitar instead.

A quiet guitar. Just what l needed

This guitar in my opinion is overpriced it is really poor quality the tuning pegs are cheap and nasty and do not hold in tune so after a few strums it is completely out of tune again and the strings that it came with are of poor quality i do not think it is worth the money it is more like a real cheap £50 kids beginners instrument. Definately overpriced.

Looks good and plays excellent well made instrument i have had for over a year nice little folk blues guitar

i have played guitars that were much more expensive that did not sound near as good as this guitar. in fact i have a very expensive dreadnought guitar that i think i will sell now because i like this one better and i like the parlor size better

Muy contento con la compra de esta guitarra económica. El uso que tendrá es estar colgada en la pared del salón para tocarla cuando se antoje y compañera de viajes vacacionales. El sonido es aceptable, la acción también lo es pero cambiando las cuerdas a un calibre menor se toca super cómoda. La afinación en trastes correcta, la pala tipo Gipsy muy chula con clavijas bonitas que cumplen su función, el acabado muy pulcro y con un barniz que la hará durar en el tiempo. El mástil incluye alma y su diapasón es más que aceptable.Si estás pensando en una guitarra de salón o de viaje está es una de las mejores opciones que hay con una escala estandar.

Ha un ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. E' ben rifinita e davvero bella da vedere; pratica per allenarsi e per viaggio, perchè piccola e leggera, ma al contempo con una sonorità apprezzabile, anche se ovviamente non esalta i suoni profondi. A differenza di quel che solitamente accade, l'action viene dichiarato e ben regolato, consentendo un uso molto confortevole della tastiera. Da consigliare

Prodotto molto ben fatto trattandosi di un entry level. Inevitabile suono nasale data la dimensione della cassa. Manico confortevole anche per mani medio grandi. Buon livello di finitura. Se cercate uno strumento di minore ingombro rispetto alle dimensioni standard di una chitarra la consiglio. Assente il truss rod, buona intonazione al 12 tasto, ottima tenuta dell'accordatura.

I was hoping for a darker colour sound board. Photo colour is not accurate. Actual colour of sound board is very light. Sound is good. In tune. Ends of frets finished nicely.
