Some products deliver everything they promise and are well worth it. This is one of them. - Highly effective at containing oil/grease spatter while also allowing steam/moisture to vent (i.e., superior to lids) - Super easy to clean afterwards by hand (I prefer doing it this way to avoid the heat of the dishwasher aging the silicone), mine looks good as new and has zero stickiness after 6 months of frequent use - Super useful when draining liquids! I often cook chicken, taco meat, stew beef, and stir fry which often produces too much liquid which you want to drain out. I used to have to try to use paper towels or use a utensil or a lid not designed for easy draining and would have a hot mess everywhere. This lid makes containing oil spatter and draining excess liquid super convenient and easy. Great design and I use this capability all the time - Handle is comfortable and provides excellent grip - Size allows me to cover all my skillets and even my wok which is amazing, but it's not so gigantic it creates difficulties storing it Just buy it and don't look back. Really pleased with this product.

I cook a lot, and this is the best splatter screen I've ever had. Unlike metal mesh screen, this does not lose its shape, discolor, or get holes. Easy to clean, too.

This works great for blocking splatters from big rectangle electric skillet. So why only 3 stars? First. It covers so well the steam doesn't escape, sobif you want it crispy you will need to take guard off thevlast bit of cooking. Second There is no way to set it down, there are no feet or any kind of stand for you set it with when taking it off to stir pot. And that sweat thing, that is actually a problem as you get so much water on the bottom of guard you can easily burn yourself

This screen is very effective at reducing splatter. It can handle being on even very hot pans, It is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Unlike metal mesh screens it does not rust after a few uses. The size is big enough for even my 33 cm frying pan. The only drawback is that the underside of the screen tends to get a fair amount of condensation build up. When you pick the screen up to turn your food, you need to be careful not to tilt the screen and let the condensation drip into the pan or onto your cooktop. Although it is more expensive than a metal mesh screen, it will last much longer and works better, so definitely recommended.

Love this splatter mat. The quality is amazing and so easy to clean. Much nicer than 100% metal splatters which can rust and are much more difficult to clean.
