I tried this on my hair right away thinking I had used just a little bit but it was too much! So today I washed my hair and applied a little less...I mean just a little bit...about half the size of a dime. Rubbed it in my hands and then applied on the outside of my hair. And I love it! I have thick, shoulder-length, rather course gray hair and it looks wonderful. My hair is shiny and soft. The Original Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Styling Cream has always been my go-to but once again, I can't find it anywhere. I'm happy I gave this Brightening Oil a try.

I use on colored blonde hair and use after towel drying and ready to style. A little goes a long way so use primarily on body of hair and not top. Silky smooth hair every time. A must buy.

You do not need to use a lot of it.

I used to love Fekkai’s products, always did exactly what they claimed, then I learned that I was allergic to silicones so I had to stop using them 😳. I was so excited to see that they had reformulated and taken out the silicones, or so I thought. When I purchased this item, I was admittedly a ding dong, and tried it without looking again at the ingredients. As I rubbed the product between my palms I was thinking boy this stuff really has the consistency of dimethicone, a widely used silicone, so I looked at the ingredients list on the bottle and sure enough it is the very first on the list. My hands started to itch and peel in about a day and it was incredibly difficult to wash all of it off. Now if u are not allergic you should have no trouble with this product, but I was really disappointed that they would lie. At the same time I had purchased more of the technician line and after I had healed up I tried it with the same results the conditioner also has silicones. Like I said this won’t matter to most, but to those with worse reactions than mine it could be really bad, so I felt I had to say something. If you are sensitive don’t use this particular product, the others in this line are excellent though the shampoo, conditioning mask and the spray are all free of silicones as they say and really work well. Oh and I did give this to my adopted daughter who loves it so there’s that at least. I just find it difficult to trust them cause if they will lie about that what else will they lie about? Now maybe this is just a simple mistake and I do hope it is, but it was on their website also so…. Like I’ve said it doesn’t matter to most, but to some it can be painful.

This is a good product, but don’t make my same mistake. Don’t use this on your roots because it will make your hair disgustingly oily. Only use this on your lengths.
