Lovely clock looks great on my kitchen wall, perfect size for space I have

Nice enough clock but would need to be in a well lit area as I had mine in hall and could not see the time. Numbers just disappeared into the background.

Arrived on the specified day and relatively well packaged (outer cardboard box had had a bit of a battering) but the clock and the box holding it were fine. The clock was in an open-faced box covered with bubble-wrap to protect the clock face. The clock itself was secured into the box using two screws so you will need to find your own cross-head screwdriver to release it. That done it was easy enough to insert your own AA battery and set the clock.I was aware the some reviews had commented that this clock was unreadable given it's colouring of silver and white. The kitchen clock I was replacing was silver and white and had encountered no problems reading it though I have to admit this Acctim one is no where near as clear to read as my last clock from a different manufacturer. I still can do, it's just not as clear especially the lower clock face numbers though obviously the position of the clock etc will have some bearing on this - though this one is in the same spot as the last one we had. Possibly also due to the fact it isn't a pure white clock face, it looks a slightly creamier shade of white compared to my white walls for instance. It does seem to keep good time, at least so far, which is what you want from it at the end of the day but I've only had it a couple of days. It isn't a silent clock however. A very definite tick tock on the second hand movement which is not too bad in it's kitchen setting but may be rather annoying if placed elsewhere.

I like the simplity of the design of the clock. Its the shiny gold surround and detail that's eye catching. It maybe a little on the small size for some spaces but as my kitchen is small anyway it fit right in.

Was after a small clock for my kitchen that looked modern and smart, whilst being easily readable and this clock does just that. Very pleased.** UPDATE- This clock keeps stopping. Very irritating. Such a shame as I really like the look & size of the clock.

Had to return this clock. Very poorly finished the silver frame was poorly finished on the edges and had a burn mark on it too. The photos of the white clock shows two colour faces The creamy face is the one you get.
