Reasonable value-for-money at current offer price; not suitable for vegans
'Derma Treatments Bio-Catalyst Day Moisturiser 50 ml' is unusual in that it is a 50ml tube rather than their more normal 30 and also includes coconut oil which most others do not.In addition to coconut oil, shea butter is its other moisturising agent that are backed-up with several other botanical oils and extracts. Also included are hydrolyzed pearl and snail secretion extract (same product, different name in some of the range) that may deter vegans and those unwilling to use products that rely on animal-derived ingredients. Both are included for a reason, the pearl as a source of calcium and the other as a source of hyaluronic acid and other beneficial enzymes and peptides that are commonly used alone or in various combinations in other products of many brands. Most do not disclose the source of these compounds. There is a pleasing fragrance, not overpowering, with hints of geranium and lemon which is a combination Derma repeatedly use.Derma directly retail many of their products to the public at prices of around £75-£80, some substantially more, but some retailers are offering many at prices starting below £10 - a substantial saving. As a moisturiser, it appears to work sufficiently well and similarly to other products that retail at about £5-£10 regardless of quantity, but it is not outstanding. Supplied as a gel in a pre-pierced tube, it releases a fine bead and the suggestion is to use a 'pea-sized' amount. However, instructions are mostly non-existent and the packaging unhelpful and it isn't known whether a pea-sized heap or a pea-length bead is the intended dosage. That applies to many of Derma's products and their website offers little extra by way of help or clarification. While Derma offer a range of products that are supposedly mutually supporting, there are few differences in published formulations (other than possibly in relative proportions) or in the individually stated purpose of each. Not all indicate on the packaging the precise area for which they are intended and it is possible that one product could replace several others. While botanicals prevail, ingredients of animal origins may be issues for some purchasers. The user to whom this was given for testing did ultimately object to and was deterred by the snail secretion and ceased using it after a few applications just as she did with another. The product offers fair value for money. Although the supplied quantity and current retail price are both higher than many from the brand, the price per ml is broadly similar to most others of the range when sold at their current sub-£10 prices. If purchased direct from Derma, it would be a considered purchase and the complete 'kit' of facial products alone would be a major outlay for anyone.

Very pleased, great everyday moisturizer.
Another nice Derma Treatment for daily use. Pleasant fragrance, comes in a good a good quality squeezy tube for dispensing and applies easily- it's a light solution that is a perfect consistency for me that absorbs a treat leaving no residue or stickiness. Very pleased with it all round, great everyday moisturizer.

Moisturising
Nice rich cream which "sets" quickly and makes a good base for foundation. Pleasant subtle scent. No nee to reapply as my skin doesnt flake all day with this.

Neutral moisturiser
Didn't have any problems with this. It's a neutrally-scented moisturiser with quite a long-lasting effect; at the time of writing, it's also on sale for about 80% off, and is thus worth trying out.

Day cream/moisturiser.
This is a reasonable day cream/moisturiser, which comes in a boxed tube. It is easy to apply and absorbs quite quickly. The instructions on the side of the packet definitely need very good eyesight, but the idea is that this is a product to be applied after a serum at the start of the day. It includes some UV protection via Vitamin E to try and minimise damage from the sun's rays.

NO DIRECTIONS OF HOW TO USE... HERE IS MY GUIDE.
Yeah right, a RRP of £77!The tiny print on the box is almost impossible to read. However, what I have made of it is that it is EYE CREAM. USE ONLY A TINY AMOUNT OF THE CREAM, AND RUB IT OVER THE EYE LID AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. This is done in the morning after washing/showering.AMAZON VINE products must be reviewed within 30 days of receiving. This, I feel will not give a long enough period to see if I, or the wife notice any difference.

Nice moisturiser, ropey packaging
There are no instructions in the box and the writing on it is tiny -- a two glasses problem as Sherlock Holmes might say. This is the moisturiser in the 'Energy Range'. There are four other products in this range. It took me a while to find ingredients which are on the base of the packet in tiny writing, so don't throw that away if you feel you may need to refer to them at any point. The cream comes in a squeezy tube and you only get 50 millilitres. There is no hygiene seal. Those are the grumbles: the cream, I like. It's an emulsion based on glycerine and coconut oil. It's quite light. It also has gardenia flower, aloe vera and sea buckthorn. But weirdly it contains hydrolysed pearl and snail secretion filtrate! So may not be suitable for vegans? Not SPF stated so may be only suitable for indoor use or the winter months. Ingredients appear to be a cut above the big pharma chemical concoction on the high street. The fragrances is delightful. Not sharp or heady. It goes on smoothly and sinks in. If it doesn't irritate my skin long term, I might consider continuing with it. A nice UK-based product let down by poorly designed packaging (Aunty Barbar)

Quality but at a price
This has a lovely feel - not at all greasy (unlike many skin care products). It absorbs easily into the skin and really does have a quality feel. However after 2 weeks of use, there is no noticeable difference compared to a high street brand like Simple in terms of the appearance of the skin.So the question is one of value. Is it worth paying all the extra for something that doesn't seem to deliver - but that feels quality?I would say no - but others may disagree.
