Throw the J Bolts Away
When I received my new Delta tool box for my '12 Tundra, I was astonished to see six holes in the box and only two J-Bolts included for attachment. After spending about 20-30 minutes wedging the factory bolts into the bed rail system and having to hold them in place while wrenching them tight, with lock nuts, my box still did not feel secure. The bolts were not straight and the washers did not sit flush with the bottom of the tool box. I did a brief search and immediately ordered two pair of these that are designed to be compatible with the rail system. They arrived today and I had all four installed in under 5 minutes. Box is solid and secure like it ought to be. Inside the box there are just four bolt heads so items are not sitting on and around a 3/4 inch long end of a bolt sticking up. These seem like they would hold better to a standard rail rather than the J-bolts that get twisted and crooked. To clarify the comments that these are not universal, this comes from the packaging:Fits all pickups, as well as with cargo management systems on the following:2007+ Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra2008+ Ford F-1502008+ Dodge Dakota2007+ Nissan Titan2007+ Nissan Frontier2007+ Toyota TundraI highly recommend the anchorage of these over most anything other than drilling and threading a bolt into the rail. Most people, including myself, are not willing to do that to their truck.

Excellent
I just received this today. It only took about 5 minutes to install, and that is with the temp being about -5. Just drill a couple holes in tool box, not your truck bed rails, align aluminum clamp on the underside, and tighten up bolt. Holds very tight and seems to work as intended. No more drilling holes in your truck box. Also, this is about a dollar cheaper than Walmart. My truck is an 07 Toyota Tundra with cargo rails.

Great Tool Box Mounts With Strong Clamping
I used these to mount a Northern Tool + Equipment Crossover Low Profile Gloss Black 63 inch Truck Tool Box on my wife's 2000 Chevy S-10 ZR2. I opted to use four of these on opposing sides to mount the tool box instead of the Grip-Rite mounts. The Grip Rite mounts tell you to use only one per side and opposing slots on each side as using offset positions may cause the tool box lid to bind and operate improperly. I really would have liked to use the Grip-Rite mounts, but based on some online customer reviews they are prone to breaking during use as they are plastic. The Dee Zee mounts are aluminum, and have large jaw like clamps for under rail mounting and will work with almost any truck.

Worked well with the tool box I installed on Nissan Frontier. Fit is secure so far. Also used the Tool box clamps as well.. I had ordered both not sure which would do better.Instead of going through the trouble of returning one pair since both sets worked welland were easy to install, I decided to use both to secure the box.

Works Very Well - Many Possible Applications.
I used these to secure my top-fitting gull-wing tookbox to the deck rails inside the bed of my 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. The aluminum J-hooks fit into those deck rails perfectly. One pair appear to be more than enough to hold the tookbox securely. The included bolts worked fine, but were a little longer than I needed. Picked up two slightly shorter ones from the hardware store. The toolbox was previously secured with another type of tie-downs which protruded upwards into the toolbox with nuts inside the toolbox securing them in place. Very difficult to tighten and consumed space inside the box. The bolts for these tie-downs extend downward (tightening from above), taking up almost no space (only the bolt head itself) inside the toolbox once in place. Also much easier to access and tighten. In fact, these tie-downs have worked so well, I'm going to buy a second set for another project for my truck's bed (a small light bar behind cab).

HUGE difference!!! Installed with UWS box on a 2010 Silverado 1500
I wasn't entirely pleased with the J bolts that came with my factory uws box. Even after having them professionally installed, the box did move a little. When I got home I played around a little bit more and it after tightening the bolts it became more secure while slightly deforming the contact surface of the box.Enter Dee-Zee mounts. Words can't accurately express how happy I am with this product. After installing them in place of the factory J bolts, the box was very secure without having to over tighten. It takes a slight bit of manipulation with angling to get it to fasten correctly, but once you get it right it works beautifully. Thank you for such a great product!!!As stated earlier, used on a UWS low-profile toolbox on a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71.

Worked very well, I needed to buy longer bolts for my application (which was securing a headache rack not a toolbox however).

Quality looks good. Have yet to install
On time. Correct quantity. Quality looks good. Have yet to install. Will remain 5 star unless I discover a flaw in the installation process.
