Artist Haat Chess Set - Foldable Magnetic wooden Chess board and chess pieces with storage (SIZE : 12x12 INCHES).

Solid wood set and box/board. Board made with inlaid veneers. Let down by rough finishing. Some of the pieces had lathe sprue attached under the felt so they wouldn't stand up and the board had faint scratches / tooling lines on it. The wood was dull and poorly oiled. In the end I fixed these and ended up with a nice little set. All in all worth the £17 I paid but I would want a better finish if this had cost any more.

Looked really good at first but figures slightly smaller than expected. The underneath soft cushioning is already coming off after 2 games. I would say too expensive for what it is.

I'd say 4.5 stars for workmanship vs price.Otherwise good chess board for the value.

Excellent product

A good product at a great price. The quality of the product was of a high standard particularly the chess pieces themselves. The only slight flaw I seen was the retaining clasps looked a little flimsy, however only time will tell if I'm correct?

Not being a chess player I had to rely on description given but on examination of product when it arrived I was very pleased with the quality and the finish.I feel it will be a very well received present for my 'chess lover'Prompt service and well packed

Great product. Perfect sized slots cut into the foam to keep pieces secure and in place when not in use or being transported. Love it

There was a piece missing and we had 3 knights instead of 2, see picture attached, Could we have another queen sent to us please.
