I recently purchased the Safe Mandoline Slicer, and I have to say, it’s been a game changer in my kitchen! I used it for making French fries for my kids, and it was incredibly easy to use. The adjustable thickness settings allowed me to get the perfect fries every time, and the slicer is so safe to handle with its built-in safety features. It made meal prep so much faster and more enjoyable. The quality of the slicer is top-notch, and it’s such a time-saver. There is definitely a learning curve with this item. I decided in the first few days that I was returning it because of extreme frustration. The adjustment knobs are not easy to read or to determine when knobs have been turned 360 degrees! Black numbers and markings on the white plastic would help very much! Visually examining the internal blades is necessary to get the setting desired. The manual provides some help. I decided to keep trying for 30 days before giving up. Using it almost daily I managed to figure things out. Kids now enjoy super thin cucumbers and apples and it's fast. I was able to make French fries for the air fryer too but they are smaller than expected. It doesn't create grated results but the julienne can be set very small. The unit is not as easy to clean as claimed. Carrots really like to stick inside but the tool provided helps. Not sure the heat of the dishwasher would be good long term so I only hand wash. 30 days later it's going to remain in my kitchen and spend some time in our RV.

A Very handy but simple device. I’ve only just begun using it, but, so far, I do like it. It’s safer than the horizontal slicers which I had thrown away. AND it slices uniformally which I never seemed to be able to achieve without it. It also speeds up the process of getting dinner ready!

I’m still finding out how to completely use this but it’s worth the 5 stars I gave it. U can slice anything & everything pretty much how u want it. Seems to b made well. Comes with a brush to clean it up. Make SURE u use the cleaning tool. The blade inside is VERY sharp. Look but don’t touch. I found out when I was wiping it down with a towel but that’s really what u want when u buy a slicer. I really like it so far. Fast shipping with prime. Good price.

I have an expensive mandolin that it hard to do julienne cuts. I do a lot of pickling,canning, and cooking. This is very easy and safe to use. Cleans up easily and easy to store. I highly recommend it. The one thing I do not care for is I wish it held bigger produce. Hard to do normal size onions, tomatoes, beets, etc. It also tends to cut your vegetables at an angle instead of if you’re slicing with a knife. A must have in the kitchen!!

When using it to chop onions, and it took at least as long as doing it with a knife. Very messy. I guess if someone isn't bothered by little pieces of onion all over the place it could save time, the container that's catching the food is poorly designed. It doesn't attach, there's a gap where the food can fall thru, and there were pieces that went over the top. And when finished, lot of pieces stuck in hard to get to places. Worked better chopping potatoes. Would have been great if I had wanted fries, but there isn't an easy, fast way of putting the fry shaped pieces in to just cut across to make cubes. I ended up cutting the fry shaped pieces with a knife to get small chunks. Should work better with carrots, but I had those already chopped before the mandolin arrived. Documentation said not to use it for meat, which I had wondered about. Probably not good for cheese either. The booklet that came with it stated not to use on food too soft or too hard.

This is the third one Ive bought. I use it almost daily. Making Pico de Gallo or slicing baby potatoes is a breeze with this tool. It is a little difficult to clean but worth the effort. I put it in a tall Tupperware and push the lever a few times for extra cleaning

Ya lo he usado para hacer patatas para tortilla (súper finas), para hacer patatas fritas alargadas (muy sencillo de ajustar) y para cortar rodajas de tomate súper finas. La limpieza muy fácil y rápida. Es un aparato muy versátil y fácil de utilizar. Lo considero útil en la cocina.

This slicer is a definite winner! Fear not fingers, no blood will be shed. The product slices consistently with ease, is sturdy and weighty. I would not hesitate to recommend or re purchase. A new gadget fave. Onions sliced like butter, root vegetables were minimal effort… a one hander. No need for uncertainty, this one works!
