Rockford Fosgate P3 Shallow 12-Inch Subwoofer Grill

The last piece! Finally it’s all done, grill looks fantastic and it’s a perfect fit. Here are some pics of my project on a Lexus rx450h

Good strong grill

I needed a smaller sized subwoofer that would fit under the passenger seat of my 1969 Firebird convertible. This Rockford Fosgate 8" unit really filled the bill. Provides just enough non-directional bass. The sound system is now complete.

I thought this was really overpriced... at first. This thing is heavy duty. So is the ring that my fosgate sub came with. I had to use a rubber mallet to sort of force the ring and grill into the stock sub box in my Jeep. It was a really tight fit, and when done, not a mark or ding was left on the ring or grill. Of course I tried to avoid hitting the grill, but man -- it is built really well. I feel super confident that my sub is safe when I throw stuff in back of my Jeep now.

It is strong and actually fits the P2 as well and I definitely feel a lot safer with this sub in my trunk now!!!🙏💯
