Couldnt really be much better
Like all X-T's the X-T5 feels a little awkward in hand due to its small size. For my middle sized hands this grip just extends its finger grips and height to a more comfortable size. I see nothing to fault in it, making it reasonable value. But there are a couple of things that stand out as good. The frame is milled out to save weight. I had to do this myself on my x-t3 grip to save a few grams. For a grip at this price to come lightened from the factory is excellent. There is a gap in it on the bottom right corner - i mount my strap there (i.e i dont mount it on the right side of the camera body). To have a hole where i can do this without resorting to some fudgering again is brilliant stuff and shows some real thought has gone into this grip. And of course it has the standard tripod mount shape. Which leads me to my single flaw. The fixing bolt is a single slot, where id prefer a hex. But that really is minor stuff! Highly recommended.

A high quality good value grip.
An excellent, high quality product. I tried the rather expensive Fujifilm MHG-XT5 grip too but found that the Smallrig version had a larger, more comfortable grip and a slightly slimmer base. I bought it during Black Friday week and saved myself nearly £100.

Up to usual high standard
As usual, grip has been produced to fit perfectly on the XT5. Makes holding the camera more comfortable. No problems with access to battery.

Super handy
There isn't really anything not to like about this in my opinion. It gives a much better grip, is tactile and fits perfectly. It gives much more purchase on the camera and so it feels much more slnug in my hand (and I have small hands). I feel more confident with my x-t5 in hand.

Don't be put off by very minor flaws
I bought Zfc's Hand Grip from SMALLRIG before, and the feel and fit are very good, especially the silicone grip makes the grip soft and comfortable. Because I read the first two negative reviews, I was very confused when I bought this X-T5 Hand Grip, and there is a possibility that the handle will be returned. After receiving the new X-T5 Hand Grip and installing it on the camera, there is a little misfit at the bottom, very little misfit (in fact, if you didn’t read the previous two negative comments, you wouldn’t mind it this). This Hand Grip feels as comfortable as ever, and the grip is very good and stable. I gave it 4 stars because of the very little bottom that doesn't fit exactly, however it is such a small issue that I would not have noticed at all if I did not read the other reviews.

Excellent grip for XT5
I tried the Fuji OEM grip very good but incredibly pricey for what it is. I also tried the JJC grip which is great value but for me not very comfortable with angular edges and adds unnecessary bulk to the camera. The small grips version takes a different approach to the others offering a full front grip rather than the 2/3 protrusion on the other two. It’s comfortable, lighter, easier to get on and off and less than a third of the price of the OEM grip.

Perfect.
Absolutely perfect. Fits and looks really good. 10/10.

Great value for money
This is a third party option to the Fujifilm MHG XT5. The grip is rubberised but comfortable. The remainder of the unit is very similar to the Fujifilm uni and allows batteries to be changed without removal. As per the Fujifilm it is also Arca-Swiss compatible. At 1/3rd of the cost of the Fujifilm version, I believe this is a bargain
