Efficient and good value
This is good quality buffing shoe brush which brings a nice shine to the shoe with polish applied. The tapered end is a good design feature which makes it a little easier to get into the welts. All in all, a well made brush which I fully expect to last for years and years, despite being at the budget end of the market.

does the job
You can't get too excited about a shoe brush, and I don't have much experience to really know whether this show brush is better or worse than others but it seems decent quality and does the job, comfy to hold too.

Look no further
in the past I've had brushed that had bristles which weren't very firm and as a result a poor job was done in polishing. But in this case this brush has the perfect firmness of bristles and results in a great job. Furthermore, the bristles do not fall out, which means no picking bristles off your boots

Puts a good shine on
Good size, fits in the hand well but big enough to get a good buffing stroke going. Produces a good shine with a decent polish (I use Jones Cream). A few bristles were shed first use but no more since.Would buy again without hesitation but probably won't need to be for quite a while.

Bristles much too stiff.
The size is good but the bristles are much stiffer than I expected.

Synthetic and way too hard
The bristles on this brush look like they are synthetic and very hard. If you are going to use it on good calfskin shoes, this will not be the best choice. I'm using this brush only on the rubber commando soles on my boots to dislodge any dirt / mud.The victory brush is only good for coarse leather.Best brushes that I've found here on Amazon are the Burgol brushes, very fine goat hair ( which is what cashmere is made from). They give a beautiful mirror shine with minimal effort and will last a good few years.
