Good - with some minor issues
I have had these for 3 months and finally got to test them in a downpour on my 1 hour commute this morning.About half way through the journey my crotch area began to feel as though it was getting wet - this is the usual place that every single pair of motorcycle trousers I've ever owned always leaks. So I thought,'Here we go again...'.But, when I got to work I realised that it was just extreme cold as the cause - where the rainwater water collects on the seat in that area and gets cold. I was dry once I removed the trousers!I would love to give 5 stars, but I have a few issues with these trousers.1) The tags that hold the inner quilted liner at the ankle end have already started coming away from the trousers.2) These are very difficult to get in and out of compared to other similar trousers I have owned; I bought a size up to compensate for this and they are still a struggle to get into - and I am not overweight.3) Why, oh why, do manufacturers of this type of trouser put the lower leg zips on the OUTSIDE of the leg? Every single pair of motorcycle boots I have owned zips up from the inner side - a much easier and natural way to fasten yourself into your garment. These trousers fasten from the outside. They also use cheap zips that jam when trying to do them up, while fighting against the extreme angle you need to adopt to get the zips done up. I fear these zips will be the first to fail too.Aside from these gripes, the trousers have good armour and the material is tough. They were delivered quickly and they are a very good price point.I'd pay an extra £20 and buy them again if the manufacturer could put right some of the problems?

Texpeed Quality
These are only very slightly lighter in weight to my almost identical RST trousers, but having a proper clip belt gives them the edge on the RST side pulls and that's before remembering these are half the price. Having three Texpeed jackets and now these I wouldn't pay over the odds for anything else and you won't get better service from anyone else than you get from BikerWearDirect

great trousers
these are really good motorbike trousers for the price and i would recommend these to anyone. i am 6 foot tall and bought 30 waist 32 length trousers. the waist fits as expected but you cant wear anything under the trousers unless you take out the lining, but wearing them without trousers under them is still very comfortable and fits perfectly. the length i ok for the knees however the ankles get a little chilly. these would be great with winter boots that go up to the shin, i am currently riding in summer boots that cover the ankles but not by much and because of this i am left cold and wet around the ankles. they are very slim in looks and are not bulky like other trousers out there. also they include a belt.comfort: (original padding) 7/10 (d30 padding) 11/10waterproof level: 9/10looks: 10/10so to sum things up... if you are looking for great motorbike trousers, that are going to keep you safe and dry and look good doing so, then definately buy these.honest review.great trousers.

Better than some big name brands!
I cannot fault these trousers. I've used them (in Scotland) for a year now, never got wet. No tears, broken zips, failed Velcro or any faults at all. They fit me perfectly, and are far superior to trousers at double the price.

Excellent!! Really happy!!
I bought these along with a Texspeed waterproof jacket and I'm so happy with both purchases. They are made from a really thick quality material. The seems are well stitched and the the zip is nice and bulky.I have used them in the rain and they have kept me nice and dry. The fit is perfect, absolutely no complaints.Armour in the knees and the hips that are not intrusive or uncomfortable.Really happy to have found these and for the price they are excellent! Would have been more than happy to pay a lot for these. If you are looking for waterproof, comfortable motorcycle trousers then get these.

Already passed the crash test with flying colours
The day after these trousers arrived I had my first motorbike accident, taking a tumble on the approach to a roundabout in the pouring rain, and was able to pick myself up and get back on the bike straight away. Yes it hurts, and I probably will have some bruising tomorrow, but I don't like to think how it would have been without the knee and hip padding, which I landed on. Best of all, the trousers didn't rip or tear at all on contact with the tarmac. The fit is really good. I tried some trousers of the same size in a shop and the popper just would not stay fastened. These do stay fastened, even without the belt clip, but that just gives me extra confidence. So why not the full 5 stars? Well they were not as waterproof as I would have liked. I'm sure they are fine in showers, but after an hour in heavy rain I was soaked through. I really should have got some Scotchguard or similar treatment first I guess, but I think these will be OK for anything less than torrential rain, and they have already proved to be brilliant protection against road rash.

Aim for a size larger if you want to wear jeans underneath
i was advised by another review to buy a size larger than i am and remove the inner lining to ensure a fit if you intend to wear it as an over layer and i agree with this , i do have a little room left inside and could probably wear the lining too to be honest, although the weather hasn't required me to, i am 100% happy with the product, have ridden in torrential downpour where these trousers have kept me dry and my £150+ jacket has failed me.the armour is simple and plastic feeling but surprisingly effective, and goes up to the hip, Granted i probably wouldn't expect to survive a 70mph skid along dry pavement. but works well for my daily ride to work

Not bad at all for a first-time rider.
Spot-on sizing, not tight like some trousers can be. Feels baggy when wearing but looks thinner in actuality. Has large hip Armour blocks that aren't too intrusive, same for knee armour.Nice colour and design, has a slight twill weave look. Feels warm, ideal for winter I'd say. Not sure how waterproof they'll be but I won't complain as these are my first pair of armoured motorcycle jeans. Glad it has pockets too! Can't understand why it has a pointless zipper attached on the rear though...?
