Nice set, it's tiny but that's accurate from the description. I like that the pieces don't rattle, unlike may other travel sets. It is very small - maybe 10-20% bigger would be better. Magnets strong enough to hold all pieces in place when board held upside down. Very happy with purchase

I thought the quality of the chess set was 100% , ideal for that long plane flight , I think the makers can look at the magnetic side of things as two of my pawns slide off when tilted , but overall I am more than happy with my purchase . I did want to buy another of the same but I must have got the last one , so keep checking .

Excellent. Well made, the drawer slides in and out easily, and the construction is sturdy. The pieces are very small, but the detailing is surprisingly good considering the scale. They're very slightly magnetic, but I don't know how much disruption a board would take without the pieces moving. But overall, this is a terrific miniature set, good quality and very pleasing.

This little chess is exquisite. It's perfect for practicing games which is why I got it. The magnetic strength is just right - not too strong nor too weak. Absolutely beautifully made. And arrived way before the estimated delivery date. So pleased with this little jewel.

Very disappointed with this. I bought 4 so I could play correspondence chess with my two grand daughters. It's much smaller than anticipated. I put the pieces in place and gently turned the boards upside down 1 at a time and 6 - 8 pieces fell off each board. The pieces stick to each other beautifully just not to the board. Too busy to return them but I will be going shopping for four more magnetic boards that I can inspect before purchase.

So, this thing is tiny. The peice are very small in my fingers and difficult to handle. They also stick together or repel one another as the magnets appear to be in random orientations, which causes them not to sit in place properly, which is really annoying. The prices don't stick to the board particularly well either and move at a fairly low angle. The felt on the bottom of the peices is of pretty poor quality and I don't expect it to last. The board itself is quite nice, but I must say, I'm pretty disappointed all round with this. Definitly over priced for the quality....

This is a really tiny chess set that might be tricky for some people but is fantastic for travel. It can be carried around, forgetting you have it, even if you don't know if you'll end up playing.

This is such a cute little chess set which I bought to play with my 6 year old son. Its very nicely made and with an excellent slide-out drawer for the pieces (that clicks in to place so it doesn't just slide out). It is very small which is ideal for travelling and fun to play on. Would be tricky as a main chess set though. The magnetic pieces are nice but would be great if the magnets were a little stronger (they do hold the pieces upside down as they are very light).
