Great, but too expensive!
This MS305E switch has a much better http menu system than the earlier simpler units, such as GS105E/GS108E. The VLAN seems to have more options, but I'm not yet fully familiar. BEWARE: use an updated Browser, or the menu items might not respond. The DHCP functionality is great, making initial setup a breeze. Then you can easily assign a static address (and be sure to reboot it). I have not (at least, yet) experienced any of the problems others have mentioned, and Amazon claims it is "frequently returned". It's only been a few hours for me so time will tell, but so far, it performs as expected. There are no functionality or bandwidth issues, and transfer speeds are the same with or without this switch in the system. I needed a 2.5Gbps VLAN switch (to replace the 1.0Gbps units) and I'm glad I selected this one. That being said, yes, it IS super over-priced! I wanted the 308, but for another $100?!!? Marketing madness!

Fantastic! Expensive...
Works great! Allowed me to backhaul one Eero Pro 7 to another Eero Pro 7 to use as a hub MUCH faster than doing so over Wi-Fi. Plug & play - afford me a reasonable amount of ports vs the 1 that T-mobile/Eero feels is appropriate. Works flawlessly with my routers, pc, laptop, ps5, Hue bridge, and a couple other smart home hubs.

Good throughput
Quiet, compact and fast. I have done multi-TB file transfers over it and it handles it like a champ. Only criticism is that the link lights are a little bright for where I have it - in my entertainment center - but otherwise it’s a decent little switch.

Plug, play and enjoy the higher throughput!
For home use, I love the simplicity, reliability and performance of unmanaged switches. I recently upgraded my residence Internet service from 1Gbps highly-oversubscribed cable to symmetric 2Gbps XG-PON. This was the perfect time to upgrade from my old (but functional) 1Gbps TP-Link 8 port switch to a newer 2.5Gbps switch. The NETGEAR was literally plug and play - all my existing CAT5E cables work well with their 1Gbps downstream devices, and I did upgrade the upstream link to the eero Pro 7 router to use CAT6A to realize the full 2.3G symmetric service. Well done NETGEAR - great value, totally quiet, well-constructed and easy to install.

Great 2.5g Unmanaged Switch.
Currently there are not a lot of options for unmanaged 2.5g switches from US companies. Netgear fills this void with a very solidly built switch. It really is plug and play and works straight out of the box. No problems and I love the metal feel of the device. I can tell it’s made with quality.

Does the job
So far, it is working as advertised. This switch is on the edge of my network and is used with a Samsung SmartHub. Not much high-speed network traffic there. I do use it occasionally when I plug my laptop into it for moving large files between the laptop and the NAS when Wi-Fi just won't cut it. And it works great.

Flawless!
Easy setup, stable, consistent speed with zero errors. Connection is a breeze. The extra ports come in handy for future use. Great price.

Real reviews- Great network switch, fast, cheap, easy to use.
Want a real review? Tried of AI slop? Here it is, I bought this because my new fiber internet modem only has 1 output port. Ease of setup: 10/10 (Plug in network, plug computers to switch, gg you are done) Port capacity: 8/10, (great for the average techie but not someone who's running tons of servers.) Value for money: 10/10 (Cheapest 2.5gb Plus on all ports, network switch I could find that was not a cheap offbrand)

Gran producto, excelente para extender conexiones de un modem/router para una sola red (No administrable ni configuracion de VLANs)

Works fine for simple configurations, but as soon as different VLANs are involved, the web UI often becomes unreachable when routing from other VLANs, for no apparent reason and despite having the correct routing/firewall rules. Pings also fail when the web UI drops out. Through my testing so far, if there is a device on the management VLAN connected directly to the switch, then the web UI connectivity gets "revived" as soon as that device tries to access it, at which point the connectivity is restored for other VLANs too. This is running on the latest firmware at the time - 1.0.0.5 - and it is happening for both switches I own of this model. At this point I'll be returning both and getting a switch that's a bit more mature and stable.

This item only ships with a 120-volt power supply. It is not appropriate for use in the UK and should not be sold here without a warning.

Un petit achat suite à l'Achat d'un nouveau routeur avec 4 sorties de 2.5G. J'ai pu diviser une sortie de mon routeur pour avoir un total de 2.5 qui peut entrer dans le routeur.
