The pictures and details accompanying this product on-line state it can be used to measure moisture in plasterboard, brick etc in addition to wood. We therefore bought this model at £13.99 on the understanding it could also measure moisture in plasterboard, brick etc instead of the £10.99 alternative model which only measures moisture in wood. Very disappointed with this product as having paid an extra £3 for this model, when we received it and read the pack instructions it actually only refers to measuring moisture in wood. There is nothing in the details that accompany this product that state it can measure moisture in anything other than wood. This product does not do what the sellers are advertising it to do. Do not buy this product if you need to measure moisture in anything other than wood.

No way to test accuracy of meter, but provides a good indication - high reading - leave it a bit longer to dry! Low reading - ready to burn 🙂
