Char-Broil 140 551 - Smoker Box, Cast Iron.

This works perfectly and does what it says on the can. I used wood chips and it was as though I was sold shredded bark. The wood burnt pretty quick even though after soaking them in water for 20 off minutes. I would recommend slightly larger chunks of wood ans it helps the wood in one place. It's also good quality cast iron build.

Great smoker but unfortunately broke in half after 1st use…not sure why. But gave great Smokey flavours

Good well made product in cast iron. Does a good job of smoking the meats etc

This product is extremely well built and gives off a fantastic smell when filled with your favourite damp wood chips. I found it takes at least 30 minutes for the smoke to start working with your gas BBQ lid closed. The taste difference is very subtle to be honest on red meat and as yet I've still to try on fish and chicken.

Not sold on this at all. Doesn’t add much to the flavour but seemed like a good idea. I’d actually used this and made a tin foil packet of the wood chips to increase smoke volume and still nothing obvious. It’s a well made item though and arrived on time.

Very heavy difficult so lift lid when hot nice design but prefer stainless heats up quickly as to cast which takes a long time to produce smoke

Rusted after the first year, just got the BBQ out and it's gone all horrible - waste of money

Very sturdy and use for topping up my Char Broil Big Easy for more smoke power , does the job .

Donne vraiment un goût de fumer aux aliments . A oublier pour un BBQ à gaz ou alors le démarrer sur un feu de la cuisinière.

Affumicatore dal peso considerevole, dato il materiale, ed un po' scomodo visto il coperchio da poggiare semplicemente sulla struttura senza alcun tipo di blocco o cerniera... ma dall'effetto sicuro e, per ora, resistente e capace di affumicare trucioli senza subire alcuna conseguenza o deformazione! Economico, ma affidabile e quindi destinato ad avere un lunghissimo utilizzo nelle mie grigliate. Consigliatissimo!

Macht genau was es soll... Sofern man sich genau an die Anweisung hält und die Holzchips vorher mindestens 15 Minuten wässert... Sonst funktioniert es gar nicht! Das Fleisch schmeckt wirklich besser und ich bin dazu übergegangen nur noch mit Steakpfeffer und Salz zu würzen... Den Rest macht die Räucherbox. Aber... Zeit muss man haben... Es ist Gusseisen und braucht Zeit um auf Temperatur zu kommen. Ich heize den Grill gut 20 Minuten ein um entsprechend Rauch zu bekommen. Man sollte aber wissen, dass die box schnell rostet... Nach dem zweiten Grillen, war sie bereits zu 100 Prozent mit Flugrost überzogen... Gelagert wurde auf dem abgedeckten Grill. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Sehr hochwertige und robuste Räucherbox. Hat schon beim ersten Versuch gut geklappt.

Ottimo prodotto ma non funziona se messo sopra la griglia va posizionato direttamente sulle barre sotto la griglia altrimenti non riesce a bruciare i trucioli
