Good read
This was a good read - not exciting and a little predictable but I enjoyed it. The ending was fitting and didn’t seem rushed.

Psychological read
I really enjoy this authors books, she writes great detective crime reads. This book is completely different genre a psychological read.A story of a family Nora David and two children have a good life until she was offered a great job from Jane,They soon discover Jane is telling lies and getting to close to her family.what is she hiding?Nora has a secret past...This was a good read but abit slow for me,a predictable read like books to be more unexpected twists.so my rating is 3.5 rounded to four..looking forward to reading more of her books.

ok
I was tempted to give this book a three star because it was so much like other books I have read, I even looked up my book history to check I hadn’t read it before, the story was so similar to others I have read. It is a good story however so I gave it four stars ,

Predictable
It starts off ok but from the second chapter onwards you know exactly where this is going. Whilst this in itself doesn’t make for a nail-biting psychological thriller, that’s not the main issue. The characters are too one-dimensional and overall rather stupid. You get a fantastic job offer out of nowhere without even having to show your CV and don’t think it’s weird? A person you never met before tells you a doctor friend told them about your son’s health condition and you don’t even question it? I could go on. Also, an accident with casualties normally leads to some kind of inquest, very hard to keep it quiet I would think, maybe it’s different in the States. I don’t think I will read a second book from this author.

Plot twist is obvious
Although it’s a good storyline, the plot twist near the end has been blatantly suggested all the way through the book, so it’s not the shock moment you would hope for when reading a thriller style book.
