solid hard-wood with painted ends
i bought this on a whim after seeing a poorly discibed japanese plastic kit for more(star rating put me off!) then saw this (with 5 stars for less!) it is all wood (no metal) probabley turned from either one or two pieces! with painted ends (if you look clos the tread bit is not actual threads but rings) it looks to me as full sized Thought not seen a real one!) n i,d bet if one landed next to you during ww2 you wouldn,t hang around to find out.. i think you could have loads of fun throwing this around!

Made from wood and painted well, price is a little high for just piece of wood though, thought there will be metal on the end.
