I use it for notching payterns and card templates. I can also use it for some fabrics

Big prominent wide notches and sort of stiff but dwells really strong and sturdy and you cannot miss the notches as you might have done if using scissors as most people do. You do not have to search so much to find the notches or question whether it really ks a notch or not with this tool

Good notcher
Great notcher. I will avoid cutting anything thicker than paper. I have had a few notchers ruined because I notched taped paper or card so I will avoid using the new one for that. Obviously the German brands are supreme bu this does the job. I’ve used it moderately for three months it’s still good. Clean cut notches .
