Métro 1 Pupil Book Euro Edition (Metro for 11-14)

I chose this book as the school I taught in used it very successfully with the students. Now I do tuition and this book has a systematic basic approach which I can add to with my experience and expertise. The pupil is then able to refer to the relevant material for homework and revision and because it is explicit and appealing they retain their interest. The tasks are reasonable demanding without being complex and offer many opportunities to practice newly learnt vocabulary and language skills.

This edition explains why sentences and words are formed they way they are in French, so will take anyone who can speak a little tourist French, to the next level. It covers a wide variety of relevant areas such as directions, where your from etc. You will have to use this alongside the dictionary at the back of the book, so everything makes sense however, this aids understanding, as you at times, have to work things out for yourself.

Excellent book for teachers, well laid out, interesting activities and allows for great and gradual progression.

I swear if I ever see one of these again, I will burn it... 5 years of mind numbing torcher this book gave me and I still don't speak any French!

This is my daughters first time taking French and this book helped her a lot, it was easy to understand and the illustrations were quite easy to grasp. She loves it

Satisfied. The quality of the paper is high, the price is good. But the delivery takes a long time. Approximately 3 months.
