Does a great job.
The pump makes the shower. It’s what my wife has always wanted. It’s not exactly quiet but it’s on a noise absorption pad and enclosed in a cabinet so it’s ok. Plus it for an ensure so only us using and therefore not disturbing.

Shower pump
Has vastly improved our shower experience. Checked the manufacturers website tech info before buying to establish whether it would work ok with our gravity water system set up as my plumber was doubtful but it works a treat.Noise level is ok not an issue and is in airing cupboard anyway.

good and easy to install
Good power from a small unit, so easy to install, only took me a morning after reading the instructions. Flexible hoses are a must, made the install so easy. Quite a noisy motor / pump but with dampener mat runs better

Failed after 10 weeks and it's my fault
Pump was a straight replacement for a 24 year old Triton pump. Fitted by plumber. A little noisier than the Triton. After 10 weeks it stopped dead. Contacted Salamander who came up with every possible reason why the plumber had installed it incorrectly. Pointed out it was 10 weeks old, done about 24 hours actual work and the previous Triton had managed 24 years on the same pipes. Got a replacement eventually and they didn't want the old one back so I dismantled it. Picture of 10 week pump bearing frozen solid. Decided never to fit a Salamander again as I consider the warrenty process is just an excuse to put the blame on the customer. The replacement Stuart Turner pump is running well after over 10 weeks on the same pipes.Avoid Salamander unless you enjoy lots of warrenty arguments when it goes wrong!UPDATE. The Stuart Turner pump is still going strong one year later on the very same pipes the Salamander failed on.

Efficient and quality pump
A great pump, quiet and efficient. Easy to install and good quality. Great pressure at 6 meters from shower head. Well worth the money. Make sure you check the hose widths, as I had to reuse my old hoses because I needed 22mm.
