UPDATED: I previously left a review (below) expressing some frustration with the second set I bought. To my surprise, Maggie sent me 3 new sets of lights! All of these sets had the same new quality that the first set I bought had. I love them and thank you to Maggie for checking in on reviews and sending me new ones! I recommend buying these lights, and if there’s any problems, their customer service will take care of you. —— I first ordered these about a month ago. They are really great lights that are warm/white. They’re not insanely bright but also not too yellowy. Then I ordered a second set. When they arrived, they looked a bit dirty and the three wires that are twirled together had all unraveled. I made the mistake of not plugging in before hanging them up, and later realized that only about half the lights worked. Because of the presentation of the wires, I was afraid there was internal damage so I exchanged for a new set. This was extremely easy to do and the new set arrived very quickly. While I’m happy that all the lights work on this next set, the wires are still all unraveled and it just doesn’t look as new or in the same condition as the first set I bought.

TL;DR: All bulbs worked perfectly; line feels sturdy and well-made; particularly happy with the soft color and relaxing medium brightness. Just got this out of the box -- so happy with the quality for the price. Was looking for something cheap and easy to spruce up the apartment for the holidays. Packaging was spare and organized, product plugged in and all bulbs worked immediately. The line is clearly heavy-duty and feels sturdy, like you could stretch and bend it over furniture (ours is across a large, tall bookcase) without worrying about stressing the inner components. One end is a regular plug, the other is a mate, so you could link these with other lights as usual. Color is a really relaxing, muted white-yellow (pretty much true to the picture); not too bright, quite atmospheric. They're not dim by any stretch, but I suppose if you're looking for something to serve as a real light source (like a stand-in for a low-light lamp) this wouldn't work too well. Definitely recommend for an added apartment/dorm room decoration. Can't speak to longevity as we haven't had them very long.

I have a pre lit white Christmas tree I bought three years ago. I loved it and when the lights burnt out I didn't think I would be able to match the previous ones, but these matched perfect and it's back to turkey day to January to be able to enjoy them. I love them. They are soft glowing .

So far so good. All the lights work. Test them prior to putting on the tree. I wish the lights were a little brighter. They were easy to put on my 6ft tree. For a 6ft tree, I recommend 400 lights and to start at the bottom.

This is a great quantity of lights for decorating! Having 100 lights gives you plenty of length to work with, whether you’re decorating a tree, adding lights to a display, or using them for another holiday project. I really like the bright appearance and the fact that there are enough lights to make a decoration look full rather than sparse. Having a large pack also makes it easy to decorate without needing to buy several smaller sets. A nice option for holiday decorating and DIY projects.

I love using Christmas lights as nightlights, and these are perfect for that. Right now I use them in my living room for light in the evenings and for when my infant wakes up to nurse. These are the perfect brightness. They give off enough light to see perfectly, but they’re dim enough that me and my baby are both able to fall back to sleep without any trouble. Highly recommend. My other lights stayed lit consistently for around 4 years, hopefully these last just as long. Edit: I ordered these the first week of February 2020. It is now the end of April 2020. Half of this string of lights just died. We kept them plugged in 24/7, except for a few days we were out of town. Ultimately they didn’t last as long as I’d hoped, but I’m not overly surprised at their short lifespan considering our level of use.

I’m extremely disappointed right now.. I’ve worked for days on my “catio,” the lights were the final touch. They were lit as I strung them and when I was finished, I was happy as I cleaned up my mess from my project and was looking forward to relaxing with a cold beer, outside, while I enjoy the fruits of my labor. When I came back outside to do that, half of them were not working anymore! I doubt am I going to take the time to figure out which light I need to replace, or the fuse, which I shouldn’t have to do when they havn’t even been up for 45 minutes yet! I was actually going to order another box because the entire lighting length is like 14’, not the 16’ listed on the box.. It’s probably best to just box them back up, return them, and order different ones. 😠

Very pretty colours, not very long so check the length you need and order enough.

In Dec/23, I purchased two 300-light boxes of Prextex (2 x 150) white lights. I used them inside for Christmas’23 & Christmas’24, then left them up & used them pretty much every evening for the whole year ‘25. One string just burned out the week before Santa came Dec/25. I’m buying more today whether or not they are discounted. They’re worth the $$. I never did try them outside though.

Item showed up with loose spare bulbs in the package and broken bulbs on the strings. After plugging it into the wall, realized big batch of the lights is not working.
