Do not need to contact sky
Right after being in touch with sky you do not need to activate, however she informed me that this model is two generations old , and she is supplying me with the latest one for £29.99 + £9.99 pp, do I am returning it

The one I was sent is faulty and will not work. BUT.. its a great router when it works and a better one than the old sky standup one.

The Sky Hub wasn’t what I thought it was so I had to send it back for a refund

Would have five stars if my old router hadn't fired ...
Would have five stars if my old router hadn't fired up again so I didn't need to fully install this one, but I will install it fully later as the old router wireless signal is weak.
