Marvel's Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Season 3 [Blu-ray] [2016] [Region Free]

Loved the conclusion to the Grant Ward storyline (and in the world of Marvel, nothing's truly over, so I may be making assumptions here), but it seems clear that Season 4 will focus on a new story arc.I'm thrilled to be able to purchase it on DVD, which seemed to be an impossibility in the North American stores, where they're only available on Blu-Ray, which my laptop won't always play, and I can't watch on my TV, as I haven't bothered to upgrade to a Blu-Ray player yet. Since Amazon seems to have the exclusive rights to the show's distribution, it seemed short-sighted to only release it on Blu-Ray, and I was delighted to discover a DVD version available in the UK store, as I do happen to own a region-free player, as well as a region-2 external optic drive for my laptop, so I was basically all set up for that.

The third season centers on the metamorphoses of Hydra and Grant Ward into a single, unrelenting force hell-bent on mankind's extinction. Coulson and his agents, still reeling from the events in the last season, mounted a rescue attempt on Gemma but in the process unleashed a new ominous threat to S.H.I.E.L.D.. New allies as well as adversaries are introduced and each one of them adds more mystery and excitement into the evolving story. PQ and AQ are both outstanding and help get you absorbed into the plot. Just like in the previous seasons, the final episode showed an epilogue, this time we see Daisy/Skye going rogue after the last mission. Bonus features is limited to a few deleted scenes and gag reels.I'm definitely going to watch the 4th season soon!

This was a pretty good season of SHIELD over all. The team encounters a U.S. task force that is capturing Inhumans for an unknown reason. Coulson makes an alliance with its leader, Rosalind Price, who is later killed. The president makes Talbot the next leader of the ATCU and tells him to report to Coulson, though he is reluctant to do so. We find out Mae's ex-husband Andrew has become an Inhuman who has been tracking and killing other Inhumans,.Simmons is pulled through a portal to a desert world where she encounters a mysterious being who turns out to be an ancient Inhuman, whom Hydra and particularly Malick have been trying to rescue for centuries. He gets back using a new host body and ends up taking over what's left of Hydra after SHIELD and ATCU destroy most of its bases. I'm not as fond of the last episodes, as "Hive," the ancient Inhuman, uses his power to take over a SHIELD agent. Another agent dies, and in the end, while the controlled agent's mind is freed, the agent leaves out of a feeling of guilt and starts committing robberies, with the team trying to catch up.Despite my dislike of the ending, there are a lot of key developments in this season, and plenty of action and drama. If you like Agents of SHIELD, you can't miss this season.

First off this gets a five star rating for the fast delivery and great picture and sound quality, A must buy for fans of the series.It is the digibook edition that comes out of a slipcase and folds out I received so if released like previous 2 seasons this version won't be around for long. I have enjoyed the series and watched the characters evolve with the stories. Season 3 with all the twists and turns can be summed up by "This is Shield."That said, I applaud our cousins across the pond for having this, as well as Season 2 of Agent Carter, available much earlier and at a better price that when it was finally released here on Blu Ray - or even released.Thank you for making region free a reality.

First, We don't have a DVD version of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the USA, so that's 5 star right there. And, I really enjoyed the whole season. One thing that might take away from a desire to buy this edition is that it's not for USA play and won't work in a standard DVD player. It worked fine in my computer player. That was my mistake, so no take-away on the rating.

Già adoravo la serie, quindi sono di parte. I dvd sono ottimi, a breve comprerò anche le restanti serie. Adoro.

No, esta edición no tiene Subtitulo en castellano o el Audio en Castellano.Sí, esta todo en inglés incluido los subtitulos.Al igual que la segunda temporada, esta tercera carece de subtitulo en castellano pero quiero recordar que la primera temporada SÍ disponia de subtitulos, así que sigo pensado en el error que es no tener ni substitutos en castellano.... Recordemos que en Estados Unidos el segundo idioma más hablado es el Español pero eso a los directivos les da igualDejando de lado mis quejas y el idioma, esta edición es una caja de cartón que se abre revelando los 5 discos. Vamos es una edición mucho más trabajada que la que hay en la imagen y me gusta más. Dejó fotos para que entendáis el concepto pero lamento la mala calidad de la cámara.

Not rating the show, because I love the show and Season 3 was great! Just received my copy and everything is perfect and brand new in the package! :) The shipment arrived on time and I have no complaints about my order. But the only surprise was that I from the picture you showed I was expecting a run of the mill blu-ray set in a blue piece of plastic casing. Boy was I happily wrong my I got the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. : Season 3 (Blu-ray Digipack) and am I happy; I have always wanted season 1 and 2 but was unaware of them for the first season and was not able to obtain one for the second season. Bought Agents of SHIELD from Shopville Canada, have nothing but good things to say. Arrived in two business days after placing the order. The package was factory sealed and brand new. The price was a little steep, but it was definitely worth it if you are an active MCU collector. I have watched the disks on a regular blu-ray player from Region 1 and have no issues with it playing. Very, very happy. I was using my PS4 video before to watch Agents of SHIELD, but was using far too much data for me to watch it. The blu-ray is a nice alternative. If you can get past the hefty price tag, this is a great purchase! Bought in Canada.
