The size on the package says 55x84-inches, which is accurate. However, I urge you to consider a higher quality "space blanket". These are very thin and tear easily when you try to unfold them. Light passes through these. They should be opaque. Look for items with a weight of about 3-ounces. They are stronger and more reflective (better).

Direct body heat is required with these since they’re thin/ lightweight

Q: Why are they showing usage in pics 'backwards' for keeping your body heat in?

I don’t know what you mean by backwards. They are the same on both sides. They are not meant to be long term blankets. They are emergency use. You may have seen some on the news on immigrants. While they could possibly be used more than once, they are pretty much designed as a single use item. Also, it you happen to get caught in a forest fire flash over, you can use one of these to survive.
