I bought these in September 2017 and nearly six months later they are still going strong. The silicon pot holders are really useful. I use them more than expected. I keep them next to the hob on a hook so they are in easy reach. They are quick and convenient to use. Also easy to wash. My hands are burn free!————————————————I like to research before I buy. Pet hates = fake reviews and reviews based on initial impressions rather than tried and tested experiences. So I decided to write my own frank and honest reviews based on at least two months usage. These gloves are ace! The number of times I have felt the heat of a baking tray coming through my traditional oven gloves, that I've rushed to remove it from the oven and put on a heat resistant surface, before getting burnt! Also with the cloth ones I have also come a cropper when putting them down on a work top, not realising it was wet, gone to use them and the water transmitted the heat immediately...OUCH! NOT with these babies. They are a godsend! And it doesn't matter if you accidentally get them wet as they are waterproof, oh and they are easy to clean. I can't get over how much better and safer these are to use. Wish I had these years ago.

Really impressed in every way. The gloves let absolutely no heat through and liquids don't soak in at all. They aren't the most dextrous oven gloves ever made, but that's the trade off for such excellent insulation. As I only really want them for transferring hot items to and from the oven they're perfect for the job. Also they look quite nice too!

They work! After repeated washing, my old terry towelling heat resistant gloves no longer repel heat. Bought these to try and am very happy. Just have to be careful with oily dishes as they don't soak spillage up like fabric gloves do and the fat/oil/food/curry etc stays on the outside of the gloves. Easy to wash by leaving them on your hands and putting detergent on and running under a hot tap. Nice extra finger set and a free silicone pastry brush.

Love these gloves. I was sceptical as to how heat resistant they actually are so I was cautious with them at first but now I know I can take anything out of the hottest oven safely I use them almost every day.The smaller pan holders have been relegated to a drawer if I'm honest but not because they aren't up to the job but simply because the gloves are the only thing I need for oven trays and casseroles.Really glad I bought them and can thoroughly recommend them.

I didn’t think they’d look very nice, but they do. I thought the small ones would be useless, but they’re good, too. I use them on my fancy tea kettle handle. It looks cool but gets too damned hot, sometimes. I love that they stay so clean (I’m a messy cook). It was a good buy.

Unlike the other reviewers, I was disappointed with these gloves. I find them far too too stiff and insensitive for safe handling of small or awkwardly-shaped items, quite unlike the traditional fabric oven gloves. For example, I can't securely or safely hold either the cylinder-shaped base of my breadmaker's pan to shake the bread out, or easily grasp the very narrow "handles" on the lid of a shallow 1.4L pyrex casserole. Admittedly, I like to do these jobs using only one glove - which I can do with the traditional kind. The fingertip pot holders I found entirely useless.

Totally heatproof, although I was sceptical! Manages a hot roasting tray, pan lids and casserole dishes very well. You can also wash/rinse them under the tap them if they get splashed with food, whereas my old material oven gloves would just get stained! The smaller mini-holders are not quite as heat proof, but are definitely ideal if you're taking a hot bowl out of the microwave or a metal saucepan lid off. I would buy this again for sure.
