Love these claw clippers. I have two Golden Retrievers with quite thick claws who really do not like having them clipped so when I used the clippers the first time it was nice to find that they fitted my hand nicely and were easy to use ,strong and most importantly sharp so the job was over with quickly and efficiently. They have a good grip which makes them comfortable and do an excellent job. Would highly recommend.

Thanks for the prompt delivery of the nail clippers and your email. We have used the clippers today on our dog wilson. We bought them as he has problems with his dew claws on his back feet, they grow very quickly and dont wear down like the rest of his nails. We very rarely have to have his nails trimmed and when we do its minimal, the vets always comment on how short they are, he gets lots of exercise! Anyway, his dew claws had gotten quite long so that one was curling round and almost touching the pad, so we had to do something. We found it quite tricky to get the clippers on the nail without also squeezing the pad, as the ends of the clippers are quite thick. That said we did manage to get sufficient off to trim it back to a reasonable length. The clippers seemed to cut through wilsons nails with relative ease (I got my strong husband to do it as I am too much of a wimp!) he has very, very, thick black nails, so they are a nightmare and hates his feet even being looked at let alone touched! Now that we have the proper clippers to do the job we will be able to keep up with the dreaded dew claw trimming on a regular basis. So thank you very much for a great product and excellent customer service, it makes all the difference!

We have a 9 year old labrador (who is large for the breed) with very big paws and big black nails. Her nails had never been trimmed and because they are black we were concerned that we might hurt her when trying to trim them. It was a two person job; my husband wielding a handful of biscuits and a large yoghourt pot smeared with peanut butter kept her totally occupied while I trimmed her nails. These clippers are brilliant, the guard means that only a small length of nail is trimmed with each cut and they are strong and sharp enough to cut labrador nails cleanly and easily. The only injury was when I caught my hand in the clippers because I wasn't holding them properly! We cut her nails after she had been out in wet weather and they were softish so this made it easier on her too. I have given them a trim every week to get them to a sensible length. I can not recommend these Clippers enough. I am a great believer in getting value for money and you rarely get that by buying cheap. These were not the cheapest on offer on Amazon and once you have them in your hand you will understand why. The blades are sharp and I recomend you use them like small garder pruners or snips. Do this and it'll be a doddle. I got perfect clean cuts on every one of my German Shepherd's nails. If you try to cut carefully or delicately like finger nails, you will hit snags. Quick shapr pressure. I introduced the clippers to Cooper by showing them to him and treating him. then I put them away. I repeated this a dozen times over a couple of hours. Now when he sees them he kisses them. He loves to lay at the top of the stairs with his paws hanging over the top step so i waited until he was comfy there and repeated show and treat, but after the treat I took his paw firlmyand snipped a little from the first nail at a 45 degree angle. I treated again. I repeated this for each cut and he was completely relaxed. I went in small cuts as to ensure i never hit the quick. after each snip I checked the cut and when the centre of the nail had gone from white to black, I stopped. As he is dark nailed you cant see the quick so this is an easy guide. Now when I take the clippers out he runs to the tops of the stairs and lays down. I honestly cant recommend these enough. Use them correctly and they are worth their weight in gold. amazing value for money.

I’m a professional dog groomer and wanted some good quatlity Nail clippers . I read others comments and decided to place my order on this basis. They are very strong and nice to hold. Lovely and sharp. Sadly they haven’t met my expectations! They are expensive I have cheeper ones and are as good although the blades are not as big or strong. I hoped for quality and durability, which I feel this product deliverd. The blades are very good quality and they will cut larger dogs nails. My biggest problem is the loud snap sound when you cut the nails, it scares dogs to death and they jump Which is bad news in a grooming environment, the dog then just refuses to let you cut the rest of their nails, the snap is loud and the 1st time I used them I even jumped! Really disappointing, it’s not the blade it’s the handle they are to close at the end of the handle and bang together creating the snap/ loud click! If the handles were modified I’d say as a professional dog groomer they would be perfect. I’m comsidering returning these as I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the loud sound.

Après plusieurs achats de divers modèles d'instruments de ce type au cours des années, en voilà un enfin qui me permet d'exercer un excellent contrôle sur la coupe! Ce coupe griffe me permet de bien voir ce que je fais grâce au cercle que font les lames qui s'ouvre complètement et à la poignée ergonomique et au ressort qui permettent une coupe précise et sans effort.

I received these clippers much faster than I expected to. I purchased these clippers because I had to use both hands with my other ones and even then my clippers would not always clip my dogs' nails. Many of the nails were left rough and raggedy. When I cut my 80 pound German Shepherd's nails with these clippers, I started laughing. It was like cutting butter. I have never had such an easy time clipping nails. These clippers smoothed out and cleaned up the mess I had made of my Border Collie'Mix's nails, 1, 2, 3. I am positive both my dogs appreciate them also. With the stainless steel blade, I would imagine these clippers will keep their sharp edges and not get dull like every other pair of clippers I have purchased in my lifetime. I am 65 years old and I have had a number of dogs over that time and plenty of clippers. I feel sorry for the dogs whose owners have not yet found these clippers. I loaned them to my girlfriend and she has not given them back yet. I believe she will probably be order a pair for herself, I mean for her four dogs. Great, great product. Thank you. Mary Jane
