What is the protein percentage?

Hello Wensi, I have just received a delivery for this product and checked the % of protein. Crude Protein 20%, Crude Oils & Fats 4%, Crude Fibre 4.5%, Crude Ash 10.5%, Moist 12.50%. Vitamin A, D3, E, D. Copper, Sodium, Calcium Phosphorus etc. Hope this helps. Helena

how long is the shelf life of these?

Hello, I normally buy 2-3 bags a year and use them up in one year. I have not kept them for more than a year. The product is of a high quality, dry and well made, I presume its shelf life could be up to 2 years, but can not guarantee it, since I have not kept it for more than 1 year. Hope this helps.Helena.

Is this feed good to use as egg layers feed?

I bought this to feed to a Pheasant that had started to frequent our garden last summer. He wouldn't touch it and neither would any of the other birds that frequent our garden (even the pigeons, and they eat anything usually!) Personally I'd save your money!

The quail are friendly but chickens can be quite aggressive, so probably wouldn’t mix. Hens peck pretty hard & much bigger than quails. Yes, hens will eat it, they eat non stop
