Wow, Supra P500 Pro, a Police accredited key lock box.!
Following my early disappoint with the Master Lock, I purchased this through Amazon. What a spectacular difference this unit makes. The make is KIDDE, a well respectded supplier inthe Fire and Security fields. The first thing that you notice is the weight and build quality and the full details and support avaliable. This one weighs in at 2 Kgs and full YOUTUBE assistane is available.. Secured by Police design and the Los Prevention Council (LPCB) to LPS1178, issue 8 Certification. This clearly is a Professional device that others cannot match or equal. The small printed instructions very difficult for me to read, so I went to the keysafe.com web site and printed out full enlarged versions. I managed without the YOUTUBE / Safe Web site to enter the pass code chosen by me. Yes, it certainly is a lot more expensive than most others but it is worth every penny by virtue of its rugged and sensible design features together with the accreditions. Whilst the Amazon listing quotes a 2 year guarantee, the base of the box states guarantee is 5 years.! Following my experiences I would not now contemplate selecting any other product. I noticed the comments posted for this product about certain complaints. 1. Yes, torque screws can fail despite extreme care during installation. Mine did, fortunately we had spares. 2. Yes, any sequence of the pass code will open the safe.! However, it would still be impossible for anyone without the correct pass code to guess and gain easy access. 3. Yes, the numbers / letters on the side corresponding to the buttons are impossible to read even in daylight. You definitely need a torch at all times.! None of the above however changes my opinion given in my initial Review.

Very robust
This is a heavy robust key safe. It is easy to set a combination and the mechanism works well. It comes with long masonary screws. It says use a 5mm drill bit but I eventually ended up going to 6mm to be able to manually screw the safe to the wall. I used gorilla glue into the holes for extra security. The numbers are difficult to see - black on black. I painted the numbers white with a marker to make them stand out more (see pictures). The hook for the keys is a little low down but there is plenty of space for multiple keys. Overall very pleased with my choice.

Solid and secure
It is a heavy and solid keysafe, which gives confidence that it can’t be broken into easily. Easy to fit into brick following the instructions and template provided. Easy to set a code, however what I hadn’t realised was that you can’t set a specific sequence of numbers or use the same number twice, just a set of numbers or A&B eg 123B, but to open it, any combination of these will work eg B321 or 31B2 etc. So not quite as secure as first believed. Cost is high compared to others on the market but it is well made and ‘police preferred’.

great
Got it over a year ago and it's great. Easy to access. The space is suitable for two slim keys. Quite sturdy.

Quality item, secure and built to last
Needed an external key box for various reasons but was worried about the risk. This model had good reviews and was lucky enough to use one at a holiday rental in the summer. First impressions, very solid, heavy and built to last. Followed the instructions to set a key code, 2 minute job. Used the template for wall fixing and fitted in less than five minutes with the secure screws provided, which go directly into the brickwork. I like the fact that you can enter the code in any order. Worth noting you can't use the same number or letter twice in a code. Not an issue for me. Not the cheapest but piece of mind is worth it to avoid having a door key at risk. Would recommend.

Built like a brick outhouse, it's sturdy and safe
BUILT LIKE A TANK - GOOD This is hugely heavy and solid, with sensible and practical instructions for securing it to a wall. The four bolts are beasts and with Torx heads they are not easily coming off. Follow the instructions carefully, and use a 5mm drill like it says in the instructions, not a 10mm drill like the person who found the bolts would not purchase in the hole. It feels about as secure as a thing could be to me. EASY TO USE - GOOD A rain cover, buttons that sit out clearly, all big enough to be used by my fat fingers in winter at night. Easy to press, easy to turn the lock, easy to open and sits open under gravity whilst you fish out your precious keys. The receptacle inside is not large, but it fits the five large keys I have in there with room to spare. "OVER 4000 COMBINATIONS" - FEWER THAN I EXPECTED BUT GOOD ENOUGH As others have said, you can press the combo in any order and it opens. I was not expecting this, but it is exactly as advertised. Basically, you choose which of the 12 buttons need to be pressed, no matter what order. You choose which of 1, 2, 3... up to 12 of the 12 buttons that need to be pressed. And so this is not the same as a million combinations, it is a bit more than 4000 combinations, as advertised. For a casual or opportunistic thief, this will do the trick. For a pro who has targeted you, you're going to lose everything whatever your security. To put it another way, I would prefer this KeySafe which is built like a tank and with 4000ish combinations than some other weaker/lighter KeySafe with a million combinations. I sleep at night knowing my precious keys are tucked up safely in this vault.

PRODOTTO VERAMENTE MASSICCIO, VALE INTERAMENTE IL COSTO VOLUTO. CONSIGLIO: FISSARLO IN MODO CHE NON SI POSSA UTILIZZARE UN PIEDE DI PORCO OPPURE UNA MAZZA DA 5KG PER ESTIRPARLO DALLA PARETE O DAL PAVIMENTO....
