Woodstock Chimes DCE54 Chimes Neptune - Evergreen

A lovely looking and sounding wind chime . They are very well made and look as though they are built to last . The chords are deep sounding and resonate , please note they can get quite noisy in a stiff breeze . I plan to store mine indoors for the winter so as not to antagonise the neighbours . They are nice to listen to when sat out on a summers day with a gentle breeze . Compared to other wind chimes they are expensive but worth every penny I think . It is better listening to something melodic than cheap tinny or bamboo clattering wind chimes .

Smooth deep tones, these are Quality with a capital Q. Like the fact they need a fairly strong breeze so they chime quite randomly and are not continuous.

I love these chimes of which I have many. My sister said she would like to have some too. So I got these ones for her for her birthday. She loves the sound in her yard in Ireland.

Das Windspiel Woodstock Neptune ist sehr schön abgestimmt in recht tiefen perfekt harmonischen Tönen. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei und hochwertig. Es kommt gut verpackt in einem ansprechenden Karton und kann daher auch gut verschenkt werden. Einzig beim Farbton der Klangröhren ist zu beachten, dass der Farbton Evergreen ( dunkelgrün ) im Original nicht so metallisch glänzend wie in der Abbildung ausfällt sondern etwas matter. Mir gefällt es dennoch sehr gut zumal der Klang einfach Spitze ist.

Ich hatte mir das Klangspiel zunächst auf der Woodstock Seite im Internet angehört und war gleich begeistert. Da ich schon ein kleineres besaß erwartete ich einiges! Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Eine blitzschnelle Lieferung in absolut sicherer Verpackung (gut, das Packet schien riesig, der Schreck war groß) und ein Klangspiel von extrem hoher Qualität. Der Klang stimmt absolut mit dem vom Hersteller ins Netz gestellten überein, ist sogar noch besser. Beachten sollte man allerdings Größe und Gewicht. Aber beides sichert ja den hervorragenden Klang!

Ein besonders robustes und schön großes Windspiel. der Klang ist einfach wundervoll. Genieße es jedes Mal, wenn ichin meinem Garten sitze. Der Klang ist schön tief und gefällt auch meiner ganzen Familie.

I love these chimes! I wanted ones with a low sound, and these are perfect! Because they are large and heavy they don't make a sound all the time, which I imagine the neighbours appreciate! I find myself sometimes walking past them and starting up the sound, as it's so beautiful. They are also attractive to look at.

Tolles Teil, gerne wieder

I have been looking for a nice wind chime for ages. I kept looking at the Woodstock chimes but just didn't want to spend that much on a set. After looking at tons of windchimes in the $50 or less range I just wasn't able to find anything that didn't sound "tinkly". I finally bit the bullet and spend the $$ to get this set of chimes... I couldn't be happier! They have a beautiful deep resonant "bong" and they are LOUD! But it takes a bit of wind to get them going so it'll be very rare that there is enough wind to make them ring too much. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Finally, I have a wind chime that my husband loves as well. I bought this for my husband for our anniversary. I've always had wind chimes (something I have always loved) and I could never understand why my husband didn't love their beautiful music too (only the expensive ones provide the beautiful music). Well, he finally told me that my wind chimes make his hearing aids give feedback. That's because they were too high pitched. So, I searched and searched for a wind chime (that sounded beautiful) but that was a baritone sound (low tones) -- and this is it. This one is just pretty to look at (in green) but also sounds wonderful. It is enchanting to listen to it in the breeze and my husband loves it too.

Makes beautiful sound -- BUT the wooden windcatcher seems too small and light for the size of the wind chime itself that it just spins (instead of swing/sway) when the wind blows. I have to move the windcatcher with my hand to get the most / loudest sound out of it. Considering that it's hanging outside in the backyard where it's most windy. Ended up more a nice decoration... or a whispering wind chime if at all.

I have been wanting some of the large deep toned chimes for years, but they always seemed out of my budget. These woodstock chimes are wonderful. And so great to find ones I wanted ( had been looking and listening on the woodstock web site, which has a great sound feature) at a pretty deep discount. These Neptune chimes are large and fairly heavy, so be aware you'll need a strong support to hang them. In moderate wind, the sound is gentle- when it's really blowing, the music fills the yard. Love them!

love the harmonics! very soothing and fits into my forest cabin environment. i am fond ofpentatonic tunings---and these chimes fit the mystical/meditative ambience perfectly

I love my Woodstock chimes. This is my 3rd set and they didn’t disappoint. The tonal quality Woodstock chimes produce is beautiful. The chimes of Neptune produce an nice low-ish tone. Not too deep & bassy but a wonderful tone that resonates nicely on the ear.

This is my second set of Woodstock chimes I love them ! I think I listened for an hour on their websight to pick just the tone I wanted and I am very pleased with these .Woodstock chimes are a quality product my first set is at least 10 years old and I only had to fix a loose nail once just this year.

It says used condition but the tags was all intact it hadn't been used before so I'm much happier knowing that it's brand new I'm extremely happy with my purchase and when this one gets worn out from the weather I will buy another.

The sound coming from these chimes is just beautiful. Not a tinny sound like so many other chimes make. Deep melodious chime. You do need something strong and sturdy to hang it on as it is a heavy chime. But that is okay to me as this is the one I wanted. Very pleased
