Sony products are always good quality. The shortwave picks up plenty of stations. Long wave too especially at night.

Preset stations wiped out on disconnecting from power
The preset stations get wiped out when disconnected from power source. This forces us to tune the stations everytime we connect to the power source. This is extremely disappointing and severe usability restriction.Delivered to Ireland with Spanish power plugs. So customers from other countries with different type of power sockets beware.
