T Slot Bolts for Roof Rack Cross Bars, Platform, Cargo Basket, Stainless Square T Track Bolt Adapter to Secure Bike/Ski/Kayak Rack, Solar Panel, Awning, M8x30mm, 4mm Thickness

Posting this since I had a hard time nailing down what I actually needed. I was trying to mount an old Thule flat top carrier (724 I think) to a Rhino Rack aero bar with the t-channel, which I figured would be as easy as just unscrewing the FM1 (Fat Mouth) clamp from the ski carrier and replacing the clamp with a T-channel bolt. I bought the "M6x35mm, 4mm Thickness" version of these bolts with the fully square base. They are the perfect size and worked out exactly how I wanted them to, using the stock Thule wing nuts to secure them inside the ski carrier. It makes it so someone can't remove the Ski carrier without unlocking it, rather than just by hand with the Fat Mouth clamp. It also saves me about 1" of height on my Jeep which doesn't sound like a lot but can make all the difference in some parking garages. It took me only a few minutes to swap everything. I took the picture after I had mounted the rear rack but before swapping the front rack to illustrate exactly what I was working with for anyone else who was facing the same situation. The other unexpected benefit was that I was able to slide the ski carrier all the way to the end of the bars making it easier to get skis in and out. The second picture shows both racks changed out.

I bought these to use with my awning brackets on a Rhinorack roof rack and they work exactly as intended. Can’t ask for much more than that.

These slot bolts were just what I needed to attach my 270 degree awning to my after-market crossbars. Heavy duty material and easy to install give them a solid 5 stars.

They did what they're intended to do. The edges are a bit sharp, but you could just take a file to them if that's a concern for you. Good and cheaper alternative to the OEM parts.

I bought these to replace a tbolt I lost for my fatcat. These don’t come close to being correct.

thule kit was 70$ & is basically the same thing (has those plastic pieces but i just used a couple steel mending plates). slid these into the crossbar, made a small hole in the cargo box & now it is installed properly

At almost 30$, this is definitely on the expensive side, but these bolts fit great with the roof bars of my 2012 VW Touareg. I used them to mount an older Yakima roof box and an awning. Time will tell if the stainless steel is of good quality and if this hardware will withstand the salt that is omnipresent on the roads here in Quebec in the winter. I'll update my review in a few months.

Arrived quickly as expected and the product seems strong and looks good, slides into the T-slot on Yakima HD bars just fine.

Great product. The bolts are in fact stainless steel as are the nuts and the larger flat washers. Delighted with the price and perfect fitment!
