Very good
I bought this as I wanted to add leaf litter to my aquarium, I added 5 or 6 leaves once a month with no issues, these are quite small maybe no bigger then 2 50pence coins put together, but they did exactly what I wanted them to, I believe they are good value for money and they didn't change the colour of my water.

PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS!!!
I have a number of aquariums, mainly nanos each housing a male betta so l always struggle with the larger catappa leaves having to break them up and making a mess. These are a perfect size for my aquariums, 2 or 3 added to each and proportionally the correct size. They soften and sink quickly and within a day or 2 you can see a slight browning as the tannins are released into the water. The Amano and cherry shrimp love then too, immediately crawling on and under them as they sank. Delivery was quick, ordered and delivered in a matter of days. They came well packaged, unbroken (a feat in itself with dry leaves) and looks a lot more than the 50 requested. lf you need small catappa leaves then get these! Don't be put off by comments of 'they look nothing like the picture', they wouldn't as these are fresh! As it says on the pack, picked and sun dried.

Not something you can measure.
You can’t really measure how effective these are. You certainly get a lot for your money. It says they will sink in a couple of days and a couple sank straight away. Add a bit to the look.

The best thing I could’ve bought
Got a female betta from a not so great pet shop, got her because she was being bullied and her fins were in a sad state. Used these and her fins are amazing now!

5* Great leaf litter with added health bonus'!
Came well packaged, boxed with another purchase. Re: negative/neutral reviews: yes the leaves aren't huge, in the description it actually says nano. As far as I'm aware nano meant small. I personally would be more than happy to purchase again. I highly recommend!

Wash VERY well before using, the leaves have snails.
Nice little leaves. I gave them a quick wash before putting 5 of them in my tank...a noobie error. Make sure to boil them or something before adding, got loads of snails in my tank now could only have come from the leaves.

Buster the betta loves them.
My betta loves nestling (is that a word?) around these, make the tank look really natural and seem to calm him down. Claim to help with PH, put 2 in my 10 litre nano tank, tested water after a week, perfect 7.0 reading. Was hoping they'd tinge the water brown as claimed to make it look even more natural among the plants, but I think the fact I use aqua bombs (makes crystal clear water and adds healthy bacteria to water) doesn't help 🙃 they float at first and will float for ages, easy to sink if you want them to, just give them a good dunking! Impressed with the product, fast delivery too.

Excellent, he loves them!
Hello absolutely loves them, as soon as I put them in the tank he went straight to them and hasn't left! Great product. I didn't really get for medical reasons I got as they use these in the wild for resting I believe and the help with pH so thought I would give them a try!

Very effective. Boil the leaves then add then to the water after cooling down.
Bettas love this a lot makes the water a color that gives comfort for bettas like their habitats and has a lot of good minerals and good stuff for your fish and plants. Don't add too many leaves. Depends how many gallons your tank has.

Can't complain
I can only speak from my experience with this product. It looks nothing like the picture. The instructions are not easy to follow, mainly because you need to measure the Ch when using these leaves, and the amount they recommend can be cut by half in most cases. I don't know how good their quality control is, so I boiled the leaves for 15 minutes, rinsed them and left them for the rest of the day in water I treated with some API Aqua Essentials. Only then, 24hrs after receiving them, I rinsed them again and put them in my aquarium. My 20L Betta tank got 4 of the smallest mini leaves. It tanned the water in minutes and reduced the Ch by 4 (drops count) in less than a day and stopped there. A note I have to make is that the tannins is great, but not dark enough to make your water brownish. If you add too many of these leaves to get the water dark amber, you might make it too soft for your fish. I only needed these leaves to reduce the Gh to optimal levels and they did it. I'm happy with the results
