Pro Pooch Dog Breath Freshener - Combat Bad Breath, Tartar & Plaque Build Up w/Dog Mouthwash - Fresh Breath & Safe Oral Hygiene for Your Pooch or Cat

Great idea for fussy dogs who don’t like to have their teeth brushed! My dog refuses any kind of teeth cleaning - toothbrush, squirt into mouth cleaning gel, etc. and even though he has a daily Dentastick, and a rawhide chew, there has been some progressive tartar buildup on his back teeth and corresponding doggy breath. However, this foam is great as not only has it stopped the tartar buildup but has actually started the remove some of the tartar (after about a month of regular use). Also, even though the foam has a noticeable minty smell, and unless you stir the foam into the water (eg with s whisk or fork) it sits on top of the water for a while until it dissolves (about 15-20 mins) this has not put off my dog from drinking his water. My dog goes through 1-2 bowls of water, depending on how he’s feeling, but I usually only put the foam into one bowl a day, and I give him just clean water about 1-2 times a week to give him a bit of a break from it. Been using the foam since October (now end of December) and the bottle is still going, so I think it’s value for money especially in comparison to the hassle of arguing with a dog about opening his mouth to get his teeth brushed or taking him to the vets for a teeth cleaning. I chose this foam over the other types of teeth cleaning solutions out there (eg granules that get sprinkled over food) due to its ease of use, lack of any noticeable suspicion from the dog that we have changed something (he is picky about his food), and the fact that it is made from natural ingredients.

My dogs love this! Within 2 days my Samoyed has learnt ‘teeth’ meant he was going to get to use this product and would run to it, sit, and wait for me to use it on him. It’s easy to use, just spray onto teeth/gums on each side and the dogs licking actions does the work. It’s a fresh mint/spearmint smell. I can’t say as to wether it helps to keep teeth clean yet as not been using it for long enough (hence 4 not 5 stats) But my boys are more than happy, even excited, at the prospect of having their teeth cleaned, whereas before with a brush and paste it was a palaver and I ended up giving up. Will be buying again 👍🏻

This is a great product. Cruelty free and contains products that will be of no detriment to your dogs health and well being at all. It's very easy to use and at first use my dogs were very unsure of it but after 2nd use they were fine. Made them leap about in excitement afterwards!!! I tasted this before I used it on my dogs, it's minty and fresh tasting and leaves no nasty taste in your mouth afterwards. And it works!! I use it every other day for my dogs and their breath is already so much more pleasant. It's a little pricey but now I have it I see how worth the price it is. Beautifully packaged, easy to use, pleasant tasting, cruelty free and arrived the next day.

I bought this for my pooch after reading a very funny review but alas it has not proven to be the manna from heaven we had hoped for. Our poor old Jack Russell, Harvey, has breath that would literally strip the fur from a Badger. It's a mixture between swamp gas and rancid fish. This freshener works for about a minute but then the ungodly stench returns. It's a shame for poor old Harvey, as he likes a stroke and a cuddle but unfortunately his eye-wateringly bad breath puts pay to that . The only benefit of the lockdown is that we have a ready supply of surgical masks. If we use them we can tolerate the doggie halitosis from hell.

I was getting very desperate with my dog and his funky breath. I paid to have his teeth descaled, I brush his teeth every night, was sprinkling the so called fresh breath granules on his food and also gave+ him the dog chews, but nothing was making his breath smell nice. I had tried this before, but was spraying it in his mouth after brushing, which btw didn't make much of a difference and it was getting all over his chin hair and making it stiff, but since I started putting a couple of pumps in his water the problem has gone. There are a few ingredients that i am not sure of, but thus far there has been no ill effects on my fur baby I still brush his teeth at night much to his annoyance but a least he now has fresh breath yippee I hope you found this review helpful

I bought this based on the strength of the reviews, but still didn't hold much hope of it working as I've tried pretty much everything, mint chews, dentastix "deep clean", water additives, various dog toothpastes, cotton finger mitten cleaners, finger toothbrushes, actual toothbrushes, changing his diet. Nothing worked. My poor boy had breath that could drop a zombie at twenty paces. He's unbelievably cute and attracts a lot of attention from people who run in close to pet him. He sits under my desk when I'm working and pants and there's a constant stink. No more! It actually works! He hates me brushing his teeth and since it doesn't seem to help anyway this is the ideal solution, and he seems far happier for me to do two quick squirts of foam on his teeth either side. I suspect it works better because it's foam and spreads all inside his mouth and tongue too as he licks it off. He doesn't love the flavour but he very quickly got used to it. I waited a week to write this because I wanted to be sure it wasn't just a coincidence but it's been consistent now for seven days. I don't feel quite so repulsed when he tries to lick me now which is good because it's important for dogs to be able to show their affection. Very, very happy indeed!

I use this with my dog’s Brite Bite brushing stick (which relies on the dog to do the brushing). The product looks great and smells good, but the dog wasn’t keen. He isn’t comfortable with having his teeth brushed (thus the Brite Bite Stick) but I’m sure a dog that allows their human to brush theirs would be happy with this- it’s a foam so doesn’t leave loads of residue like pastes do (I don’t think it would be fair to have something that tastes bad lingering in my dogs mouth). But as I say, it wasn’t tempting my dog to use his stick so I accompany it with something a bit more encouraging.

My 14 year old had terrible breath mainly because he has an awful habit of eating his own poo. I’ve tried everything and nothing seemed to work. I saw this and thought I’ll give it a go and I’m so glad I did. It’s easy to use and great that I can also put it in his water. His breath has improved so much (still a bit smelly but he is old) and I’ve noticed the tartar seems to be better……. The bonus is he hasn’t eaten his poo since not sure if this is related but it’s a bonus!!!

Erst einmal möchte ich mich für den tollen Kundenservice bedanken. Mehr als zufriedenstellend! Ich habe mittlerweile mehrere Produkte für unseren Hund und bin sehr zufrieden mit den Ergebnissen. Den Atemerfrischer gebe ich ins Trinkwasser und ich meine, dass es tatsächlich sehr schnell wirkt.

Fonctionne à la perfection sur vieux chien qui puait de le gueule à cause de la plaque dentaire. Excellent !

l'unico prodotto che contrasta l'alito cattivo del cane !! uno dei miei due cani lo adora quindi è ancora più facile farglielo mangiare. Se il cane ha forti alitosi bisogna darglielo almeno una volta al giorno
