The handle /shovel area is very weak and bends easily. So you need to assume no rough usage at all or the handle will break off.

Great for the price
Only quibble would be that they're a bit weak where the handle joins the main part of the shovel but for the price they're really good value. I use one for doggy poo picking and the other for the hearth. Brilliant size for both jobs.
