Effective
Fits well and it stays in place as long as the tether is uppermost. Mine are intact after a very snowy Alaska winter so far

Good concept, but...
The attachment collar is great concept in eliminating the possibility of loosing your hitch cap. However, the rubber connecting elbow is too stiff/springy and eventually forces the tube plug out of the receiver. You'll frequently find the tube plug out of the tube and dangling from the attachment collar. The cover doesn't get lost, but it is not doing what its primary function is - a hitch cap.

So far these work great. Nice having 2. Haven’t had the long enough to determine long term sturdiness but right now they seem very sturdy.
