Protects Your Bike
This cover fits a BMW R1250GS (without panniers). It is very well built and it has an under belly strap (which is a bit of a challenge to tie. The edge of the cover is elasticates and there are eyes in the cover to use a lock. It has a space for a solar charger and also for a rear number plate. I use neither feature so I cannot comment. I use a Stormex cover on a smaller bike and have done so for over a year. That cover is as good as new. This is not a cover for travelling as it is big and bulky when off the bike. However, if you value your bike, then this cover is well worth the money.

I've bought these for several years.
Excellent price, equal to the most competitive price I could find but this was even better as with Prime it arrived the following day. This was better than anywhere else. I've bought Oxford Stormex covers for a number of years. They are an excellent product and keep the weather out very well. The inside has a soft lining which does help to protect your bike. It can sometimes rub on the plastics eg screen leading to a dulling of the plastic. This is dealt with by TCut and back to new. The other thing is the proofing starts to diminish after about 8 to 10 months. This is easily remedied by reproofing. I use an excellent product ( also on Amazon) Grangers Waterproof Fabsil GOLD Silicone Concentrate. Lastly the taped joints are a weak point on these covers. The glue starts to fail after about a year. Overall these are fantastic covers.

Almost Great
Not long bought this and only used it a handful of times. So far, thick, well made with heat resistant lining (that does not mean you can through it over the bike hot.....warm yes, but not hot!) So far, still waterproof. As an adventure bike cover, I wish the side skirts where about 3>4 inches longer and it had 3 under belly clips, one in the middle which it has and one at either end just in front/behind either wheel. As long as it continues to be waterproof long term with the couple of mods already covered it would probably be the best adventure bike cover in the world (so far). The cover, would probably suit a larger, lower sitting bike 100% with no issues so bear that in mind. If Oxford ever makes a mark 2 cover only for adventure bikes, I would be really interested to get only and see if it's any better. For now it's a large bike cover that will probably cover 99% of all motorcycles. Could it be better for what I ride.....yes, it could! Fingers crossed OXFFORD READ THIS and take it on board......watch this space!

which is a brilliant idea, together with plastic 'seat-belt' style clasps which ...
This is the second Stormex cover I've owned - the one before lasting over 5 years. So I know for a fact they are resilient enough to withstand all weathers with no probs at all. In fact as I type this, it is snowing outside, but I know that my bike would start on the button thanks to the Stormex keeping the bike dry and a couple of degrees above the ambient temperature. This new version includes a new solar panel pocket, which is a brilliant idea, together with plastic 'seat-belt' style clasps which prevent wind from blowing the cover off of the bike. It's thick and padded and most importantly, heatproof, which is often overlooked as a requirement with bike covers. Believe me, it being heatproof is a very good thing! One thing I would mention though, is that these tend to come up quite large, and the XL size I bought for my Triumph Sprint is a little loose and flappy. But if you have any luggage fitted, I guess it would be just right.

Great fit on a BMW R1200GS
Much better quality and fit than my last cover from Oxford... Possibly because I had that one so long it fell apart. This one is lovely though. Really nice! I like the Oxford cover range, the stormex ones are the ones to go for, but it's a bit of a pain storing it off the bike or taking it with you as it's bulky, in a luxury padded sort of way. Stormex for home rainex for travel.

Excellent quality
This is the second Stormex I've had, I used one for a smaller previous bike. I thoroughly recommend them. Robust, durable with a fleecy kind of lining inside. I'm writing this review 15 months into ownership with the cover being used outside all the time, through the best part of 2 UK winters. I would say this isn't a forever purchase if you're using it outside all the time. A bit of the seam taping is coming unstuck where the cover is taught over the mirror / locked steering but the seam itself is still good. Plan on replacing them every 3 to 5 years.

Best bike cover
Padded, resilient and yet light-weight. My previous cover (I don't recall the brand), discoloured in the sun and ripped after a year. The material was thin whereas the Stormex is more substantial. I have a large tourer so the review is for the XL / largest size. The straps on the Stormex are conveniently positions and feel very robust. Dearer, but quality worth every penny

Lo esperado siendo Oxford
Después de un tiempo de uso, con un clima bastante desfavorable, la cubierta va de cine; ahora a esperar a ver cómo va con el sol del verano...
