I’m amazed at the quality for this price!
I ordered the 72 set for just over £12. They arrived today, so I thought I’d try them out. I am quite simply amazed. The colours are lovely: there are a few garish primaries, but overall there’s a great selection. I worked on Fabriano pastel paper and found that they lay down and blended really well. Also, because they’re not too soft, it’s possible to achieve some detail. Opacity is good. These are easy to use and great value for money. They were dropped through the letterbox by the delivery driver, but survived that ordeal, so I think they’ll last well. My go-to brands are Meeden and Sennelier, but I’m delighted with these. The box claims they’re light fast, but only time will tell. I’m not a great artist, so these could well become my go-to oil pastels.

Great box of Pastels.
Really impressed with the great choice of colors in these Pastels, especially given the very reasonable price. Haven't used yet but am looking forward to as they seem a good texture, easy to hold, aren't the biggest but perfectly adequate for most I'd think. It's a really lovely box & would consider a nice gift for anyone interested in art.

Vibrant Colors and Versatility Make Artecho Oil Pastels a Solid Choice
A while ago purchased the Artecho Oil Pastels Set of 24 Colors for my art projects, and overall, I found them to be an excellent option for painting, drawing, and blending. While they can be a bit messy to work with, the quality and vibrant colours make up for it. One of this set's standout features is its wide range of 24 colours. The colours are vibrant, rich, and blendable, allowing for beautiful artistic creations. The soft texture of the oil pastels makes them easy to work with, enabling smooth application and layering of colours. I appreciate the versatility of these oil pastels, as they can be used for various artistic techniques. Whether you're painting, drawing, or blending, they deliver satisfactory results. They work well on different surfaces, including paper, canvas, and even wood, expanding the possibilities for artistic expression. However, it's important to note that working with oil pastels can be messy. They tend to transfer colour onto your hands and can smudge easily. It is advisable to use protective gloves or work on a surface that can be easily cleaned. Despite the messiness, the vibrant colours and the quality of the pastels make the experience worth it. Another positive aspect of the Artecho Oil Pastels is their durability. The pastels are well-constructed and do not break easily, even with regular use. This ensures you can enjoy the set for an extended period without worrying about constant replacements. In terms of value for money, the Artecho Oil Pastels Set offers a reasonable price for the quality and variety of colours provided. It is suitable for beginners and artists experimenting with oil pastels without investing in a high-end set. The Artecho Oil Pastels Set of 24 Colors is a solid option for art painting, drawing, and blending. The vibrant colours, soft texture, and versatility make them enjoyable to work with, despite the messiness involved. They offer good durability and represent good value for money. If you don't mind the potential for a bit of mess, these oil pastels can be a valuable addition to your artistic toolkit.

Excellent value and quality
Excellent colour variety of oil pastels that are nice to use and offer a soft creamy medium. My kids have lvoed using these for art because the vibrant range of colours make them appealing and fun to use. I am happy for them to use these as they're an affordable option that balances good coverage and blendability with the price point. They draw well to my amateur hand...i certainly couldn't complain that the pastels were inhibiting my drawing ability!

Great
These are very good. Get some getting used to asntheybare not pointed for fine detailed work. I did but the proper coloured pastel pencils as I needed a good white ( notbfrom this seller) but they were not good so had to use some acrylic paint for some of the finer parts. All in all.a good kit! This is my first try with these and first time doing a cat

Works for me
I picked these up because they were cheap and I thought I wanted to have a go. They're really creamy and easy to blend and a lot of fun to use. The pastels are pigmented and lay down thickly so stop. I can't comment on the quality versus other brands cuz I haven't used other brands but I think these are perfectly serviceable for the price and especially if you're just starting out.

I don't usually review on Amazon but I figured it could help some other beginners. I bought these after purchasing some other pastels which I found were too hard and I am astounded at the quality for the price of the artecho pastels. Fully functional and fit for purpose. They look professional and carefully packed with a protective layer of sponge in the lid. The pastels themselves are soft and buttery. They smudge with your finger and blend well with each other. Apologies for the poor quality photos

Fiyat/Performans canavarı
10 numara beş yıldız bir pastel seti. Toz pasteller gibi değil yumuşacık ve blend(karışım özelliği) muazzam. Fiyatı da bu kaliteye göre son derece makul. Tavsiye edilir.

My favorite brand of pastels
Although not a common brand name in oil pastels, these are my favorite. They are really reasonabley priced, but even if they were more expensive I would choose them over other brands, I have even purchased multiple times. I have used Paul Rueben, Selenier, Faber Castell, Pentel and others. I do enjoy the higher "quality" brands, but for some reason I go back to these all the time. When it comes to opacity and "sticking" to the paper, I just love them. The size is what you would expect, the wrapping is similar to mangy pastels. But I love the texture with these. There is just something special about this brand. They are soft but not too soft, not waxy. Blendability, durability of the stick. They dont break in your hand, unless you put too much pressure of course. They are smooth but not too smooth as selenier and paul reubens can be. I am not a professional artist, just enjoy it in my free time. I think this is an amazing brand to start with, for children, and for adults that could be more advanced and want a different experience than the really expensive brands. One more thing, the colors are phenominal. The variety in the bigger sets, but also in the smaller, is incredible. I can not say enough good things about them. I wish everyone knew this secret. One note, just so you know, they do have "crumbs" but nothing like the cheaper brands. I have been using them for over two years.

Buy them!
This is a great set! I’m brand new to oil pastels, I had only briefly tested some sennelier at blick but besides that nothing. These are a nice balance of creamy and firm, in my opinion. They blend really nicely on paper with enough tooth. My first time using them went poorly because the paper I used didn’t have enough tooth. I did some more research and put one coat of Liquitex clear gesso over a couple of blank sheets in my Strathmore mixed media art journal. The grit from the gesso was exactly enough to give me the results I was hoping for. I didn’t want to buy sealing spray so just use a sheet of parchment paper between pages and haven’t had any problems. As for the set itself, I love the size and color variety! The pastels put down a nice thick layer which can be smoothed out or left textured. There are more greens than I personally know what to do with but I guess I’ll learn to do more landscapes or just use more greens. I love the range of cool colors. These are definitely worth the money and I can’t wait to try out different ways to use them. There is a safety warning on them to not inhale their dust. After using them a few times I haven’t noticed dust but I know that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. I’ll consider wearing a mask when I use them but mostly I just work right near an open window and hope for the best. NOTE: the artwork in my photo is copied from pics I found on Pinterest, not my original work.

Soft & Creamy, Vibrant Colors!
I absolutely LOVE these oil pastels! I am a new to oil pastels, and recently bought 3 sets; this set, Gallery by Mungyo, and Cray Pas Specialists. If you are just starting out, like me, this set gives the most bang for your buck. They are just as creamy as the Gallery pastels, but not quite as opaque. They show up nicely on white and black paper, and are easy to spread with your fingers, a q-tip, or a rolled up bit of paper towel. The blend so nicely. These are my favorites, and if you get them on sale they are half the price as the Mungyo Gallery and feel so very similar. Love these!
