Sliders: The Complete Season 3 [DVD]

A friend and I watched Sliders the first time around and have been enjoying the nostalgia! Until now... Season three is a bonkers season of psychics and dream eaters- we've gotten about half way through and given up.

I loved the first two seasons of Sliders, so was looking forward to the release of Season Three, and was not disappointed. In this season, the Sliders meet more and more bad guys, so it would seem that this season is much darker than the first two. The sad loss of the Professor changes the dinamics of the group, and for me, not for the better. The new Slider, Maggie adds a tension between the two women characters that in my opinion did not need to be added. If you are a fan of sci-fi, you will easily reconise references in the story lines to many a good sci-fi film, there's a episode that's pure 'Mad Max' the final one is 'The Island of Dr. Morau', it's a fun ride spotting all the story references, so have fun watching it.My only moan is that who so ever listed the episodes on the box should be sent into another dimension. Two episode are in the wrong order, Season's Greetings and Murder Most Foul, swap them around and the episode Exodus Part 2 is on the previous disc, not the one its listed on, otherwise have fun sliding. I can't wait until the Season 4 is available.

Perfect quality disks. Looking forward to watching the series.

I watched season 1 & 2 and I was instantly hooked. This is not usually my sort of genre, I'm not that into Sci-Fi but I must admit this I enjoyed.I liked the originality of the story and plot, unfortunately the producers have decided to rival and copy hollywood films to get ratings, there are clear parodies of films like Species etc.All the episodes are essentially one off stand alone too which was disappointing as the first seasons were connected in some way.Still an okay season but expected more.

A brilliant season in my opinion

Series seems to be very samey, almost as if they're running out of ideas.Great series throughout, some fine actors and we need more time travel programs. However, Quantum Leap rules I'm afraid to say!

It's a great science fiction show. I watched it back in the day and loved it.
