I recently ordered 8 more of these lights to add to the two dozen I already have. Two of the latest order were not working so I removed the screws and opened them up to see what might be wrong. What I discovered were that the batteries had a bit of corrosion or some kind of thin plastic on the bottom (flat end) and the tension spring also had a bit of corrosion or thin plastic coating (where it contacts the battery base) that was stopping the battery from working. I scraped the corrosion/plastic off the batteries and tension springs with the tip of a small screwdriver and reinstalled the batteries- lights immediately worked. It was just a matter of the batteries and tension springs not being clean- a simple, quick and easy fix.On another note, the two dozen lights I ordered a few months ago are still working great and look wonderful! I placed them on top of the fence posts surrounding my pool deck and they really add a lot of interest, color and ambience to the area. Couldn't be happier with these lights!I just want to add that I've had quite a bit of experience with solar lights and, as such, would like to point out that for some reason the manufacturers don't adequately waterproof the lights- all the solar lights I've ever had (stake lights in particular) are not well sealed and rain swiftly enters the lights through the top around the solar panel edges. The water then proceeds to get into and corrode the internal workings over time and eventually destroys them. I learned that lesson long ago. SO, with these lights I was taking no chances. I used clear scotch tape and covered the edges of the solar panels (with just a slight overlap onto the solar panel) and excess tape was removed/trimmed away with a razor knife. As the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Just thought I'd mention this and give everyone a heads up so any possible future disappointment can be avoided.

Did not even make it outside yet and already all 4 stopped working!!!... charged 1x and lit up beautifully but as soon as they were done they have never worked again. Quite a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! Such a shame since they were really pretty the 1X I got to see them

It's nice but it doesn't work well. I ordered 2 paks total of 8 lights, the first 2 weeks, 2 lights didn't last long even under the sunlight!Now only 4 lights are working! I'm dlisappointed!

Nice lights. I bought two sets to use around the holidays. If they get decent, direct sunlight, they work well. Between the two sets, one didn't work initially. I was able to reseed one of the battery terminals in the housing and got it to work fine too. Good price & value.

Very colorful solar lights. They are easy to install and its enough sun to charge them. We enjoy them in the evening a lot! Perfect for outdoor.

I ordered two sets and each box brought one that doesn't work. I'm not returning them, instead I'm going to order another to make up for the two that don't work
