Up beet teapigs
Another fabulous flavour from teapigs. Beetroot and spice, great wake up call. Good taste, value and quality product. Please try this brand, so many different teas. Never disappoint with any teapigs tea pyramids I have tried. Love them 💗

Slight twist on the berry
Not as strong a flavour as I was expecting, but none the less a refreshing brew. I leave the bag in until finished. No extra energy but a slightly different twist in my usual teapigs fruit berry tea.

Yum
Slightly bemused by what other reviewers have said because I definitely think it tastes of fruit berries. Perhaps my brain is fooled by the red colour but I don't think - as some other reviewers have said - that it's "vegetable" or "savoury" tasting at all. In any event, I really like it, it's probably the nicest herbal/fruit tea I've tasted (apart maybe from liquorice but that's just so bad for your blood pressure I had to give up on that one). I personally would recommend it.

An acquired taste
Big fan of tea pigs’ products: biodegradable bags, cardboard packaging printed with vegetable inks. Two big thumbs up. Then there’s the quality of the ingredients, lovely and visible in the bag as well as the fact that there are no extraneous extras.These bags contain: hibiscus (50%); beetroot (21%); ginger (19%); green tea (6%); carrot (4%).To try and be as objective as possible, I’ve made this tea twice and drunk it once hot, and once cold.I am a regular drinker of green tea, as well as herbal teas, and enjoy creating my own blends from dried herbs. To be honest, this ‘up beet’ creation is not a blend that tastes nice to me. True to say I’m not a fan of carrot juice, and there is an earthiness from the beetroot and carrot that is probably a major factor in my dislike; it is the predominant flavour. The ginger emerges later as a spiciness in the background. The hibiscus (I really like hibiscus and ginger tea) does add its beautiful colour to the tea and also an initial hint of fruity/floral tartness that I usually suggest is comparable with cranberry for those who have never tasted it. The green tea is, not surprisingly, lost as a flavour though no doubt adds some caffeine to ‘energise’ the drinker.It would be reasonable to say that if you love beetroot and carrot juiced, don’t mind ginger, and enjoy the tartness of cranberry … and can imagine these all at once being palatable … then you’ll love this tea. It is boldly flavoured, boldly coloured, but I would suggest quite an acquired taste.

The perfect morning wake up call and definitely worth the price.
I think I'm in love with these teabags! Maybe it's psychological but I've replaced my morning tea/ coffee with these and I feel like my energy is significantly improved and doesn't get that caffeine crash.The only pro I can think of is the price but I reckon it's worth it!

Best international shipping I've ever tried. Worth every penny!
How does it taste? Boom. A strong fruit (and veg) blend. Good if you're feeling: Adventurous. How we like it: Before a workout. A punchy blend of hibiscus, ginger, green tea and beetroot (trust us on that one!), this tea will have you bouncing your way to 5pm without a sugary energy drink in sight. Allergens: Dairy free, gluten free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Green tea doesn't always mean caffeine-free. It did a cursory search of beets and they themselves contain caffeine but it's less than 0mg is 100mg. So I'd say it's negligible and why legally it is deemed it is caffeine-free? \n\nUnfortunately, there isn't any more detail on the tea pigs site and mine has now run out! so I don't know if there is more information on the packaging. It is also not on the caffeine-free part of the tea-pigs website. I hope this helps. \n\nFrom personal experience, it doesn't give you the same sensation as caffeine that coffee or black tea does if that's what you're looking for. I liked it."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is this tea loose leaf or in a teabag?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Tea bag"}}]}]}
