Must have....great read
One of my all-time favorites actually has to purchase as part of text requirement for my Doctoral cohort in a DCJ leadership course and I was blown away by the authors insight using Ancient History. (especially Xenophon) This book creates motivation & spurs thought at any level.

21 Indispensable Qualities of A Leader
Dr. John Maxwell is an authority when it comes to any subject dealing with the huge and very seldom misunderstood topic called "leadership". I have close to 4 books from Mr. Maxwell, and I have to admit that he has exceeded my expectations in these previous materials, and 21 Indispensable Qualities of A Leader was no exception. Honestly, not too many authors have been able to accomplish what Mr. Maxwell has been able to do with his readers: keep them interested and hungry for more information. This book is an easy but yet very challeging read, not in a linguistic sense but in the sense that it compells the reader to rid himself of any preconceived notions he/she had about leadership.

Qualities of a leadership
Leadership is not what you can achieve in a day. It requires a lot of steps to take on the way up. This book revealed some secret of successful leadership. Good to read.

simple, actionable but kind of repetitive
As like John’s other book, this is very practical and easy to read, but really hard to practice. Most of the materials however felt like an echo of his other books

I have given this book as a gift to more people than I can count. It is a strikingly insightful, engaging, useful book. The author writes humbly and wisely about his observations and deductions gained over many years of meeting, presenting and working with people. Read it, and read it again. Dip into it again every year for the rest of your life! You will not regret it. It not only helps you be the best you can be, it gives you x-ray vision into others' lives and struggles also - in a very good way. In a way that will make you less judgmental, more kind. more helpful and a better example yourself.
