My gaming laptop does not get hot with this item. It sits perfectly at my desk and I can slip this item in my bag and use it anywhere. Great buy.

Wasn't so sure about what kind of laptop stand/riser I wanted, it came down to this one and a 5-inch option. Simple, easy, and perfect. It's stable and the perfect height without too high of a lift. I liked the navy one, which took a few extra days, but it was worth it. Lift keeps my laptop lifted so it is well-ventilated. Happy with my decision!

I looked for a simple laptop stand to allow proper air circulation to keep my laptop from overheating. This tool fills the bill.It's a simple design of quality materials without assembly. The only minor design flaw is that it can't somehow attach (metalically or otherwise) to my laptop. So there is some need to grasp the stand at the same time you grab your laptop to move it.

Provides just enough height on the back of the laptop to keep it cool and more ergonomic. My Dell has it's rubber protrusions right at the back where this thing can hook into perfectly. It was a little too sticky on my desk for my liking however, so I put a piece of paper in the middle of it to let me slide the laptop around better. You could also use tape. But others may like the gripy-ness of the silicon. And it does feel like good actual silicon.

I bought this product to improve the ergonomics of using my laptop outside my regular desk setup. I was attracted by its dual functionality as both a laptop stand and a keyboard riser, which I needed for my Apple Magic Keyboard, lacking ergonomic options. However, when used as a keyboard riser, it tends to slip or move. On the other hand, it performs well as a laptop stand. If I were to redo my purchase I would have opted for a laptop travel case that also serves as a stand.

I looked around a lot for a device to easily and effectively cool my laptop. I carry my laptop from home to work etc. and couldn't use a bulky base with fans etc. Also I looked at the little feet that attach to the bottom -- many of these seemed flimsy. This device doesn't attach to the laptop, but rests securely beneath the rear. It is a sturdy rubber material that doesn't slide across a tabletop. It elevates the laptop keyboard to a comfortable angle and provides adequate space to aid in laptop cooling. It easily fits into my laptop bag. I highly recommend.

Although the idea is good, this did not work for me at all. The silicone slid all around on whatever surface I put it with my 13" laptop on top. Also the height was insufficient for comfortable viewing. I returned it.
