Came quick, packaged well. No smell at all to it. Let it sit out for a few hours. You're supposed to let it sit for forty-eight hours or longer but I didn't see the need. I love the firmness it has. Gives my back the support I needed. It's not like sleeping on a board tho. Has just the right amt. Of softness to it. My only issue is that it does slide a little. Could be due to my weight, plus I'm short and now the mattress is high. May not be a problem for regular folks. This was 155.00 with tax and all. I would pay it again! Well worth getting good sleep. I'm disabled and have five broken vertebre so I'm in my bed most of the time. You can believe this review cuz I wasn't paid to do this. In my opinion you won't go wrong with this topper if you're looking for firmness. Oh, it does come with attached straps to put under your mattress. I'm thinking it moves due to my weight. Hope this helps you decide.

I’ve had a queen mattress and box spring from a not major manufacturer for many years. I think it’s a coil mattress. When I bought it these foam mattresses seemed a new fangled gimmick to me with no sure way to tell them apart. After the first year I woke up multiple times a night. I always felt achy. When I finally got up, I usually felt more achy and untested than when I went to bed. I tried a fluffy topper. Squashed down and was Just a waste of money and space. Mattresses are expensive, so it usually came down to house repair, teeth repair, or mattress. The mattress lost. Finally this past year, now that I’m old and creaky with arthritis and bursitis and have my space to myself, I felt I deserved a try at comfortable sleep.But I was still afraid of making an expensive choice particularly to try one that was delivered in a milk carton and expanded to a queen that I couldn’t lift or get rid of, much less fit back into the milk carton. So I opted for an experiment, a lower cost but well rated single size mattress, 4” height so I’d get the most padding, to put on top of my current mattress and box spring. Strange, I know.Now I need to stretch my queen sheets over this odd surface . There’s a valley next to me I fill with pillows. And I need a small step stool to get into bed! 😂 That’s a bit risky at my age. I don’t need it getting out, just have to be careful.End result: after several months, beginning with the first night, the majority of my rest periods have been so very, very comfortable. Sure I have restless legs and insomnia. I don’t expect a mattress to fix those. But instead of waking up early hurting and telling myself not to bother to go back to sleep, I get back in bed and relax. I was considering getting another single to put by the first to even it out, but I don’t need it. The arrangement won’t work for everyone, but at the moment it suits me and my pocketbook just fine.I recommend this mattress for comfort. I can’t say how it would work on its own, but I’m sure it would be fine as a guest mattress or a supplement to the usually horrible mattresses on sofa beds. But then you have to deal with storage.it might even be fine just on a box spring, haven’t tried that.

Topper provides some comfort but lack of support due to foam density. Would recommend getting firmer topper for added support.

This pad is super comfy. I like the straps to help keep it in place, but I did also need to add a rug gripping pad underneath and it does still shift a little over time. However, it's easy to move back over and has made a world of difference in comfort and pain relief. I am very much plus sized and have Fibromyalgia and def recommend this if you're finding your mattress is too firm.

I am honest and straightforward in all my reviews and I don’t waste my time with unnecessary platitudes so here it goes. I bought a new foam mattress on Amazon and when I slept on it I felt like it didn’t give me the proper support I was looking for. Mind you it is new and it is a reputable brand I bought from. I needed a little more comfort so I decided it would be economically beneficial if I don’t throw the baby out with the bath water, buy a mattress topper. I carefully chose this one. I can say that one night sleeping on it made all the difference. I got a deep comfortable sleep. It’s not super soft or super firm. It’s exactly what I needed.

3 stars is for the smell. After airing this thing out for 3 days as the instructions said, it still smells very strong (chemical smell). Going on two weeks now and it still smells although slightly subsiding. My advice, air this thing out for a week in high ventilation area before using.
